The following is to help clarify the two different student accounts that MCPS is using this year to pay for field trips and for school lunches. Please see helpful information below regarding how to use “School Cash Online” (for field trip payments, etc) and “My School Bucks” to open up a lunch account for your child(ren).
School Meals
Please refrain from sending in any cash or checks for student lunch accounts. Instead, please open an account for school lunch prepayment at https://www.myschoolbucks.com

Free and Reduced Meals (FARMS)
Guidelines and application forms for Free and Reduced Meals (FARMS) will be on-line at www.MySchoolApps.com and you can visit this link https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/departments/food-and-nutrition/meal-payments/#FARMS to review information. Families must apply each year.
School Cash Online-for Field Trips (NOT SCHOOL LUNCH ACCOUNT)
MCPS has transitioned to a new online payment system called “School Cash Online” as its preferred method of payment for school-related fees such as fundraisers, field trips, obligations, etc. (Please note that the new payment system is NOT related to school cafeteria accounts).
