Mentor Directory

Purpose: As a way to make finding faculty research mentors easier for potential student researchers, UGRC is working on a searchable Faculty Research Mentor Database. This initiative is part of the Title III grant, the main aim of which is to expose as many KU students as possible to transformational learning through High Impact Practices (HIPs). Please see all the information in one place here.

The Ask: Please update your faculty profile in myku Legacy. Instructions are here: https://www.kutztown.edu/about-ku/administrative-offices/web-and-digital-media/directory-resources.html

UGRC Faculty Mentor Awards

The awards recognize excellence in faculty engagement with undergraduate researchers and are sponsored by Kutztown University's Undergraduate Research and Creativity Faculty Advisory Board and the Office of Grants and Sponsored Projects. Each award carries $500 in professional development funds.

The twofold purpose of the awards is to raise awareness of all the outstanding undergraduate research that is taking place on campus and beyond, whether in local forests or streams, or much farther away, and to reward, recognize and celebrate these impressive achievements. Each year there can be up to four faculty recipients.

You may self-nominate or nominate a colleague.  Please see the application form here.

Ceremony Date and Time: Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 11am (as part of the KU Inspires celebration); recipients will be notified at the beginning of April.

Application Deadline: March 1, 2025.
