About our Venue
Heisen House Vineyards lies on 15 acres in Battle Ground, Washington -- just 35 minutes north of Portland, Oregon. The property, a former pioneer homestead, is surrounded by expansive farmland, towering evergreens, and wide open views.
Our venue features a state and nationally recognized historic barn, as well as a turn-of-the-century Victorian-style farmhouse. Both provide a charming backdrop for your wedding. Your bridal party may use the bridal suite located on the bottom floor of the historic Heisen House for preparation before your ceremony.
Heisen House Vineyards has three wedding ceremony locations for you to choose from: the Vineyard, the Courtyard, and the meadow. A 120-year-old black walnut tree adorns the foot of the vineyard. The courtyard, featuring a gazebo is nestled between the historic barn and the Heisen House. The Meadow is located on the 10-acres to the north of the Vineyard and features a wedding arch.
Wedding packages are priced according to the number of guests and number of hours, see pricing page for more specifics on our packages. Add-ons allow you to pick and choose additional services, see add-on page for more details. Customized and all-inclusive packages are also available, just ask!
We can accommodate up to 300 guests at any of our wedding locations and have parking accommodations on site. Parking areas are on grass or gravel.

At Heisen House you could put on a beautiful and fully decorated wedding using just our inventory alone! Just add the cake, food, and fresh flowers!

Decor Set Up
Set up of tables, chairs, and ceremony seating is included in your package price and the site will be ready to decorate starting at your arrival time. If you prefer, we can provide staff to set up your decor for you, so your wedding party, family, and friends can sit back, relax, and leave the decor set up to us!
Event Clean Up
Likewise, we put away all of the tables, chairs, and ceremony seating after your event is done, included in the package price. If you would like, we can also provide staff to clean up after your event (remove trash, pack up decor items, etc.) so you don’t have to!
Day of Coordination
We do not require but highly recommend you hire a professional wedding planner/coordinator from our list of preferred vendors. Or you can appoint a trusted person (not in your wedding party, not someone in family photos, and preferably not someone who wishes to attend as a guest) to do planning/coordination for you (we will provide a job description and task list for them.) Or, if you prefer, we can provide a day-of coordinator as an add on to your package. Please note: Your planner/coordinator is required to attend the 1 hour venue meetings 60 days and 30 days prior to your event with you to go over site details in preparation for your event as well as attend your rehearsal and be on site from arrival to departure on the day of your event. On the day of your event, the planner/coordinator will oversee decor set up, manage the timeline, serve as the primary point person for all vendors and site staff, and oversee clean up, among other duties. This is a big job, if you do not hire a professional or add on in-house day of coordination, please choose this person carefully as they are the one who will be making sure your day goes smoothly and who will execute your vision, answer all the many questions vendors and site staff will have, and solve any problems that arise so you and your guests can be blissfully unaware of the logistic nitty-gritty and simply enjoy your day!
A 1-hour rehearsal is included in your package price. If you like, you can add 2 additional hours of time for a rehearsal dinner that includes a private area (with tables and chairs) set-up and (hosted or non-hosted) bar service for up to 25 people onto your package. Due to liability, DIY (do it yourself) catering and potluck-style catering is not allowed at Heisen House Vineyards. We are happy to recommend caterers from our pre-approved list or you may request pre-approval of the caterer of your choice. Only fully licensed, permitted, and insured catering businesses will be considered.
Sparkler Send Off
Add an exciting sparkler send off to your event. Package includes specially designed long-burning sparklers, safety precautions, set up, organization of and instruction to guests, and clean up.
Additional mobile restroom
Events larger than 150 people will require an additional mobile restroom. We will arrange for the delivery, set up, and removal of the restroom with our rental company.
$250 per hour
Most couples find the site time included in our packages offers more than enough time for set up, event, and clean up. Should you require more time, please arrange this with us in advance. With the exception of rental companies dropping off or picking up items and preapproved, prescheduled vendor visits, arrival and departure times for your event must be as agreed upon and specified in your contract hours.
Exclusive Facility Rental
Our winery tasting room is open every Sat. and Sun. 12-5 and it is our policy not to close the tasting room on days of events. We will direct tasting room visitors away from your event areas while you are setting up and prior to your event. We highly encourage you to schedule your actual event start time after 5 p.m., when the facility is closed to the public. If you would like the tasting room to be closed to the public between 12-5 on the day of your event, the exclusive facility rental fee will apply.
Securing Your Date
A signed contract and a non-refundable $350 deposit secures your date. Dates are filled on a first come, first serve basis and cannot be held without a signed contract and deposit.

Bar Service and Pricing
Heisen House Vineyards produces high quality, handcrafted wine and hard cider, made on site. We offer a 15% discount on all wine and cider purchases as part of your wedding package. Bar service complete with liquor liability coverage is included with your event when you serve Heisen House wines and hard ciders. We can also create customized and delicious wine cocktails, sangrias, and spritzers for your celebration. A wide variety of bottled/canned domestic and microbrewed bottled beers are also available. Due to our licensing restrictions, hard alcohol and outside alcohol are not permitted.
Estimate approximately one drink per hour per drinking guest at $6 per serving for wine, $4 per serving for hard cider, $2.50 per serving for wine cocktails, sangrias, or spritzers, $3.50 per beer for microbrews or $2.50 per beer for domestic. Couples can choose to pay for (host) the bar tab, pay up to a pre-set amount (limited-host), or to have guests purchase (no-host) their own beverages, or do a combination (semi-host) some of the alcoholic beverages (sangrias, spritzers, and domestic beer up to a pre set limit) while guests who wish to can purchase (no-host) wine and/or hard cider themselves, for example.

We are happy to recommend caterers from our pre-approved list or you may request pre-approval of the caterer of your choice. Only fully licensed, permitted, and insured full-service catering businesses will be considered and proof of such will need to be provided prior to approval. Caterers will need to bring, set up, serve, clean up, and take away food, dishes, and catering equipment. Caterers should be prepared to be self contained, we do provide a prep area but there are no kitchen facilities on site.
You are of course welcome to visit the site during regular winery hours (12-5 Sat. and Sun.) anytime, but if you need to speak with us specifically about your event or be on site outside of those hours, please arrange such visits in advance so we are prepared for your visit and are able to give you our undivided attention. Unplanned or unaccompanied entry to the site during off hours is not allowed under any circumstances. While we strive to be available to you, please also respect our privacy and off hours. Thank you!
As specified in your contract, couples are required to provide event insurance covering the day of your event in the amount of one million dollars. Heisson Farms, LLC must be listed as an additional insured on the policy. A copy of the proof of event insurance must be on file 30 days prior to your event. The cost of this insurance is approximately $50, and it insures you from losses, in the unlikely event that damages or injury should occur. This policy does NOT need to include liquor liability.
A $500 cleaning/damage deposit in the form of a signed check and a valid credit card on file will be required 30 days prior to your event. No charges will be applied to the card and the undeposited check will be returned to you one week after the event if the site is left in the condition it was found. Because it is often dark when events end, please be prepared to have someone return the next day to walk the site from 11-noon looking for any items, debris, cigarette butts, and the like left behind. If any issues are found, you will be notified of what they are and the associated charges in writing and they will be deducted from your deposit. Any cleaning/damages in excess of $500 will be charged to your event insurance policy on file.
All deposits and payments are non-refundable and we cannot offer refunds under any circumstances. In the unlikely event that you cannot proceed with your date as planned, please let us know right away. We highly encourage the purchase of wedding insurance via ClubWed.com at the time of booking, which would reimburse any deposits, wedding expenses, additional costs, or losses should unforeseen circumstances arise.
