Douglas Elementary Class Supply Lists

Transitional Kindergarten - (TK)
**
Please bring all supplies to our open house before the first day of school**

Shared Classroom Supplies: We share these items so no need to label them.

Personal Classroom Supplies – please be sure to label everything

·      Backpack, lunchbox, personal water bottle

·      Family Photograph (Please send a copy, as we do not want to risk damaging the only copy.)

·      Extra change of clothes – pants, shirt, socks, and underwear

·      Headphones for Infotech (please no ear buds)

·      Rubber Boots (we hope to be outside even if it is wet!)

·      Sensory Earmuffs – this is optional but we have found that all young children can benefit from having   a noise or sensory break during the school day. I have attached a link to a company I like to work with.

Optional Donations that we would LOVE to have:

THANK YOU to our PTO for supplying many items for our school so we do not have to ask families to do so.  Be sure to participate in the 3rd Annual DES Rock the Walk this fall. It’s our main fundraising event that supports many of our activities at DES.

Please label all of your students personal items like  jackets, hoodies, winter gear.  Many of you shop at the same stores and children come in with the same clothes, mittens, coats and snow pants.  Please help us by labeling every individual piece of clothing so we can get clothing back to you when it is misplaced.  :-)
