2. What is Jack’s job for GPF? He is a secret agent and his is to travel the globe defeating evil people or things that threatened the world’s most precious treasures.

Chapter 3:
1. Where does Jack find himself after jumping through the map? The American Museum of Natural History in New York.
2. Who does he immediately meet? Lewis Porter, author of his dinosaur book that the GPF sent him
3. What was missing from the allosaurs skeleton? The Hallux, or first toe.
4. Tell me about the allosarus? One of the most ferocious carnivores of the Late Jurassic time period. Could bring down medium to large plant eating dinos, like camptosaurus. Had an expandable jaw that enabled it to chomp down and eat big pieces of meat. Could carry its two-ton body on the strength of its muscular hind legs alone!
Chapter 4:
1. What is Jack’s first suggestion to figure out where the missing toe went? Look at surveillance tapes from the previous day.
2. Who does Lewis take Jack to meet to start on that suggestion? Hal the security guard in charge of surveillance.
Chapter 5:
1. What did Jack find on the surveillance tapes? A boy took out a hooked instrument from his bag, grabbed the dinosaur toe and stuffed it into his bag.
2. What secret agent gadget did Jack use while looking at the tapes? What does that gadget do? The Picture Grabber. It could take a still picture of whatever was on the screen of a computer or tv, when plugged in, and then print out the picture.

2. What information does Jack receive from her? The student’s name, Thomas Eberly, one of the school’s top science students. Won the science fair 2 years in a row. Along with his address: 33rd Street and Park Ave.

1. What happened at Thomas’s house? An allosaurs was brought back to life!

1. While hiding under the table from the dinosaur, what secret agent gadget did Jack use to protect everyone? How does it work? Neutralizing spry. It got rid of any sent whether human or animal.
Chapter 9:
1. How did Thomas bring a dinosaur to life? He extracted the dinosaur’s DNA, put it in a quickening solution and then fed it to his dog, Freddie. Poor Freddie is now a dinosaur!
2. What had Thomas also created to reverse his science experiment and how would it work? Reversal serum. He just needed to get close enough to the dinosaur/Freddie to give it to him to turn him back into a dog.
Chapter 10:
1. What secret agent gadget does Jack use when trying to rescue a man in the street? Virtual Projection Camera. It could project images that looked and smelled like the real thing.
2. How does this secret agent gadget save the man from the dinosaur? Projected a camptosaurus onto the wall that the allosaurs tried to attack.
Chapter 11:
1. What secret agent gadget does Jack use when he finds himself face to face with a real living dinosaur? How does that gadget save Jack? Goo Tube. It has glue like substance that expands on impact. He shot it into the dinosaur’s mouth which stopped the dinosaur from chomping momentarily.
2. What building was the dinosaur heading for? Empire State Building
3. What do you know about the Empire State Building? Tourist attraction. Hundreds of people usually waited outside to get into the building and to go up onto the observation deck.
Chapter 12:
1. What does Jack do with the dog biscuits that Thomas hands him? Stomps all over them to crush them.
2. What secret agent gadget does Jack use this time to stop the dinosaur from getting to the Empire State Building? Spray Gun. He put the crushed up dog biscuits into it. The dinosaur/Freddie was very excited to smell those dog biscuits!!
3. Where was the dinosaur heading next? Times Square
Chapter 13:
1. What gadgets does Jack use to get Thomas and himself to where the dinosaur was going and to warn the people of New York City about the dinosaur? The Fly Board and the Warning Gun.
