Sheriff Lee Hilty would like to share more information about the Text Caster partnership.

Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

We were able to apprehend a fleeing subject within the first two weeks of having Text Caster available!

Arrests and Reports 

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of December 5, 2023 through December 11, 2023

December 5, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to East 4th Street in Appleton City in regards to a license plate being found. Report was taken.

December 5, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Southeast 575 Road in Collins for a follow up call. Stefannie Lynch was arrested on an active probation and parole warrant.  Christopher Gerlt was arrested on an active probation and parole warrant. Information was taken on the follow up.

December 5, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 100 Road in Osceola for property damage. Padlocks were cut off of bathroom doors. Deputies arrested Mark King for trespassing. Mark is also being charged with Resisting/Interfering with Arrest, Detention, or Stop and Burglary-2nd Degree. Mark was also held on a Hickory County warrant for Probation Violation- Tampering with a Motor Vehicle-1st Degree and a Benton County warrant for Failure to Appear- Trespassing.

December 7, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to St. Clair County Courthouse for a warrant arrest. James Lysinger was arrested on a Clinton Police Department warrant for Failure to Appear- False Report.

December 7, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Missouri 13 in Lowry City for a report of dumping/littering. Subjects retrieved the items they dumped off.

December 7, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to 82 Highway and OO Highway in regards to a Carless and Imprudent vehicle. Amanda Price was arrested and charged with DWI-prior.

December 8, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Cedar Street in Osceola in regards to a stolen property.  Item stolen is a Remington 700. Report was taken.

December 9, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Gallinipper Boat Ramp in Osceola for a fight in progress. Individuals were stuck in the mud on corp property. Deputies arrested Johnathan Talbert on a Bolivar Police Department warrant on Failure to Appear-No Valid License.

December 9, 2023- St. Clair County deputies responded to Northeast 1351 Road in Osceola for a check well-being. Juvenile was injured while at school and witnessed by teachers.
