READING FORUM WITH ICT

Introduction

Wanting to use new tools and give a special touch to reading, with the present project it is intended that students have been able to enjoy and share their literary tastes while using different ICT tools.

The project consists of the students choosing a small text, fragment of a book, poetry, etc. and record a Podcast with the content to share it later with the rest of the classmates through the project website with soundcloud

The activity will be carried out throughout the school year but in each quarter a theme will be worked on, as you can see in the activities section of this document.

Every Monday at the language hour will be devoted to the reading workshop along with this project. In that lesson time, 3 students will record and share, as I have explained before, a podcast with the text they have chosen based on the theme and, in addition, they will explain to their classmates because they have chosen that author and text. While these three students are making their podcast, the rest of the class should choose their text and prepare a corresponding presentation about it. Once shared, the rest of the classmates should listen to each podcast and create their own in which they can express their opinion about the text, the author, recommend reading a text with a similar theme, etc.

Competences

Reading is present in the development not only of the Competence in Linguistic Communication but also in the development of the rest of the competences established by the curriculum. In this project said development of each competition will be carried out in the following way:

Resources

The project will be carried out in two environments, first during school hours on Mondays and in second place, each student at home during the week.

For both environments the following resources will be needed:

The difference between them is that in the case of Mondays the students will go to the computer room and the library while in the second environment the students will do the activity at home
