Finance and Income Statement

Accounts and Legal Structure

ATLAS is a registered Scottish Charity and a Private Limited Company by guarantee. You can read more about our Charitable aims, our company filing history and view our accounts on the OSCR and Companies House website.

We are currently supported by Creative Scotland as a Regularly Funded Organisation 2018-2022. To support our artistic programme we undertake additional fundraising activities with other public funders, as well as private trusts and foundations.

As a team, we regularly review approaches to fundraising and partnerships with funders, ensuring we are building a critical awareness of extractive sources of income, the derivation of wealth, and the fair dispersal of public funds.

Artist fees

ATLAS Arts is committed to paying Scottish Artist Union Rates for artist talks, events, and residencies.

As our projects work across different time periods and locations, our approach to artist fees for projects is built on a case-by-case basis, determining the amount of time and commitment required. Artist fees for larger commissions begin at £3000. Research visits are supported at a rate of £750 per week. Per diems are £21 per day.

Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or queries about our financial policies and expenditure, we’d love to be part of any conversation exploring best practice.
