BCA Transition Plans

Updated 7/23/20

About COVID-19

The virus is thought to spread mainly from person to-person, including:

IN-PERSON EXPERIENCES

BCA will continue to do its part to minimize the spread of the COVID-19 virus. We will do that by adhering to

safe social distancing practices and CDC protection protocol, until widespread testing or a cure/vaccine is available.   In

continuing with our policy of “abundance of caution”, we have established protocols for all in-person gatherings.

GENERAL GUIDELINES

TRANSITION PLANS

JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST 2020

In June, we will slowly begin re-engagement with physical in-person experiences, within the following guidelines:

  1. Environments smaller than 10 people (such as Rountables)
  1. Outdoor environments where enough space is afforded for proper social distancing and air circulation.

COVID COMFORT LEVEL WRISTBANDS*

When at any in-person gathering, Attendees will be asked to wear a wristband to communicate their COVID Comfort Zone. Please respect the comfort zone of your fellow Members as we transition to in-person gatherings.

BCA will have a selection of wristbands available upon arrival at in-person gatherings. We ask members to keep their wristband upon leaving and wear at the next event. If a wristband is forgotten or comfort level changes, additional wristbands will be available.

SEPTEMBER, OCTOBER, NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER 2020

As of July 23, 2020, we will continue with the transition plans laid out for July and August. In-person outdoor events and indoor events

OFFICE & BCA TEAM OPERATIONS

The following COVID-19 Safety Guidelines will be implemented when our offices do reopen.

  1. Arriving at the Office Each Morning.
  1. Before leaving their homes for work employees should take their own temperature.  If an employee’s temperature is above 100.0F degrees, the employee should contact their supervisor to inform them that they’ll need to work from home and seek any necessary medical attention.  It is mandatory that employees report their COVID-19 symptoms to HR.  No workers will be allowed to return to work without agreeing to report any symptoms.
  2. Before each employee enters the office in the morning, they are to wear a facemask over their nose & mouth and keep it on until they get to their office space
  3. Employees are to take their forehead temperature immediately upon entering the office).  If any employee temperature is above 100.0F degrees they will be sent home to work or to seek any necessary medical attention.
  4. A log of employee temperatures will be kept, and everyday employees will sign off on their temperature reading, if they have any symptoms and if anyone in their household/families have tested positive for COVID-19.  If any employee answers “yes” to either of these questions they will be denied entry to the office that day and will be sent home to work.

* The average normal body temperature is generally accepted as 98.6°F (37°C).  Some studies have shown that the

"normal" body temperature can have a wide range, from 97°F (36.1°C) to 99°F (37.2°C).  A temperature over 100.4°F (38°C)

most often means you have a fever caused by an infection or illness.

  1. Cleaning & Sanitizing
  1. The first person in the office everyday will be responsible for sanitizing the universal surfaces: the lobby telephone,  door handles, photocopier and surrounding area, and the pens at the front desk every morning with disinfecting wipes or spray.
  2. Every employee will be provided a bottle of hand sanitizer for their office space
  3. Each employee is responsible for sanitizing their office space each day.
