Academics

• Held weekly meetings with Director of Teaching & Learning and instructional coaches
• Participate and facilitate a book study with Instructional Coaches to improve teaming and coaching practices
• Met with Dr. Rafferty and Gaeton Stella to finalize District Literacy Plan for K-3 as part of the Science of Reading Master Cohort
• Participating in Read for the Record; Reading Department hosted a Career Day in addition to brining in guest readers
• Beginning of the year data meetings held by grade level for instructional planning
• Held building-level After School Planning meetings

Human Capital

• Attend strategy meetings with support staff teams                
• Coordinated Staff Professional Development and monthly committee meetings; met with committee leadership team to plan monthly events
• Began informal HQI focused walkthroughs
• Began Goal Setting conferences with certified staff

Operations

• Participated in Admin Council and BOE meetings
• Met with DEA Building Representatives for Monthly Update
• Held monthly drill (Fire Drill) and debriefed with Safety Committee
• Met with Mr. Trainor to review all accounts, spending, and staff assignments

Culture/Climate

• Held our first PTO meeting of the year on 10/5, planned October & November events and reviewed earnings from Fall Fundraiser
• Held Scholastic Book Fair. Book Fair profits will purchase books for our Winter and Spring School-wide Book Giveaways
• Celebrated VIPs and other school awards during monthly community meeting
• Hosted Bee True to You! presentation through Arts for Learning of CT
• Hosted cARTie traveling art museum for K-2, PowerSquad Energy Show for grades 3-5
• Particpated in Safe Kids Walk to School Day and Fire Prevention Week
