SUPER: Aunt Emily's; Stowe, VT

A blue pickup truck pulls up to the front of an old  victorian. The paint is chipping, and weeds were climbing up  the porch. Nothing surrounded the house except for overgrown  grass and trees.

Alexis gets out of the truck. The driver nods at her with a  toothpick in his mouth. She shuts the door and stands facing  the house as the truck pulls off.

Alexis slowly climbs the porch steps and hesitates before  knocking on the door. When she hears no response, she knocks  again, but still no answer. She wiggles the doorknob, and the  door budges open.

Alexis tiptoes inside.

Alexis walks through the town and once on the far side, she  makes a right onto Riffle Drive. Large houses line the sides  of the street Many had beautiful gardens and lawn  decorations, including number 302 when she reached it.

EXT-BEN'S HOUSE-NIGHT

It looked much alike the other houses. The grass had been cut  earlier that day, the lawnmower still parked in the front  yard. There were no cars in the driveway, and the garage door  was closed. None of the lights were on.

Alexis stepped toward the front door and considered knocking.  She decided against it and lowered her fist. She walked  around to the side of the house and saw an open window.

She lifts herself inside.

INT-BEN'S HOUSE-DAY

Alexis finds herself in the dining room. The table was set  but had not been touched. She tiptoes across the hall to the  living room. On the mantle of the fireplace were many framed  pictures. She stepped closer to examine them, but it was dark  and she did not seem to recognize them.

A lamp clicks on from behind her and as she turns, Ben grabs  her arms ad ties them behind her back. He lowers her onto her  stomach and ties her feet together as she screams.

After some struggle, he lifts her over his shoulder and  carries her into the basement, where he tosses her on the  floor and quickly exits, locking the door behind him.

INT-BEN'S BASEMENT-NIGHT

Alexis wiggles her way up and hops around looking for  something sharp to cut the ties. She finds a boxcutter on a  shelf and holds it in her mouth to cut the ties on her  wrists, followed by the ties around her ankles.

On the same shelf she finds a flashlight. The light catches  the dust on the junk surrounding her, except for one thing.  The urn stood in a corner on the floor behind a vacuum.

Alexis urgently approaches the urn, and glances inside at her  aunt's ashes. A tear falls inside. She notices a picture of  her aunt next to the urn.

Alexis hears Ben's boots approaching the basement door. Using  the flashlight to look around, the light reflects from the

glass of a high window.

Ben's keys jingle in the door lock.

Alexis uses the desk below it to climb up and open the  window. She shoves the urn through.

Ben opens the door and sees her squeezing through the window.

BEN

HEY!

He runs towards the window, but he is too late. He runs out  of the basement to chase her outside.

EXT-BEN'S HOUSE-NIGHT

Alexis is darting across the yard as Ben is following her.  She trips at the edge of the driveway, breaking open the urn.  She hurries to scoop as much of the ashes in her hands as she  can, and runs off. Ben is not fast enough to get her, and  gives up.

EXT-WOODS-NIGHT

Alexis continues deep into the woods until she is out of  breath. She plops down against a thick pine tree. After a  moment of catching her breath, she kicks off her shoe then  slides off her sock. She dumps what is left of the ashes into  the sock and ties it.

Alexis grips the sock tightly as she lets out a sigh.
