2023-2024 Annual Notice of Career & Technical Education Offerings

Each year COOR ISD offers career and technical education programs for all districts in our four counties. These programs are designed to prepare youth for a broad range of employment and training services. The following is a list of programs being offered this year and the criteria for admission.

• Automotive Technology                        No prerequisites; open to all 11-12 grade
• Business/Entrepreneurship                        No prerequisites; open to all 11-12 grade
• Cosmetology Year 1                                No prerequisites; open to all 11-12 grade
• Cosmetology Year 2                                Must have taken Cos Year 1 and received    the required hours                      
• Marketing/Social Media                        No prerequisites; open to all 11-12 grade
• Teacher Cadet                                        No prerequisites; open to all 11-12 grade
• Medical Occupations Year 1                        No prerequisites; open to all 11-12 grade
• Medical Occupations Year 2                        Must have taken and passed Medical Occ Year 1
• Public Safety                                        No prerequisites; open to all 11-12 grade
• Welding Year 1                                No prerequisites; open to all 11-12 grade
• Welding Year 2                                Must have taken and passed Welding Year 1
