Data Pack: ClaroRead
ClaroRead is a simple, easy-to-use, flexible application that helps you to read, write, study and work using your computer. It’s used by people with dyslexia, stress, and anything else that makes it hard to work with text.
While it is closely integrated with Microsoft Word, Apple Pages, Adobe Acrobat Reader and Microsoft PowerPoint, it can also help you to work with text in web pages, on paper, in email and anywhere you need help, on any device.

ClaroRead comes as different applications on different platforms:
ClaroRead Windows is an installed native application delivered by Windows Installer MSI file. It works closely with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint and Adobe Reader, and includes visual tools, study skills tools and speaking dictionary. It can be licensed for corporate networks and individual machines.
ClaroRead Mac is an installed native application delivered by standard macOS pkg files. It works closely with Microsoft Word and Apple Pages, and includes visual tools, study skills tools and speaking dictionary. It can be licensed for corporate networks and individual machines.
Like ClaroRead Windows, ClaroRead Mac comes in single-user versions and corporate network versions.
ClaroRead Chrome is a Chrome Extension that is obtained from the Chrome Web Store. It works closely with Google Docs and Microsoft Word Online and PDF files. It is mainly deployed in settings with Chromebooks, such as schools. It can be licensed for Chromebook domains and individual users using SSO.
ClaroRead Edge is the same extension as ClaroRead Chrome but is deployed via the Edge Extension Store.

ClaroRead also has a number of web apps, which are accessed wholly through a web browser without any installation (except as PWAs).
This is a comprehensive diagram showing all data flows across all ClaroRead versions (Windows, Android…). A given application or tool will only use a subset of these online resources.
ClaroRead Windows and Mac corporate/site-licence versions do not use any online services except (optionally) the Reference Lookup feature (CrossRef and Google Books). All other versions of ClaroRead (Chrome, Android, iOS, Web) require Internet access for licensing and operation to the servers and services shown below.

All Everway/ClaroRead servers are hosted in the EU except for the following three services which are hosted in the UK:
