BOYS LIFETIME ACTIVITIES A - B

Semester – 1 credit

Prerequisite –P.C. 1 A-B, Physical Activities A-B or Weight Training,

Integration of lifetime sports such as tennis, disc golf, badminton, pickleball, table tennis, bowling, golf, etc.

Required for Middleton High School graduation.

This course is a holistic overview covering mental and emotional health, social health and physical wellness.  Through conceptual education students will learn and apply information on self-esteem, personality, emotions, relationships, communication, drugs, alcohol, physical fitness, safety and nutrition. Dual credit may be taken through College of Western Idaho dependent upon age/grade.

                                                       

SPORTS MEDICINE  A-B

Prerequisite: Health,  Anatomy & Physiology and Biology                                                                

Class designed for students that want to pursue a career in a health field by focusing on injury prevention, athletic injuries, CPR, basic first aid, etc. This is a yearlong class.
