Qualifications for Office
- Each applicant must have a clear understanding of the Finclusion and its goals.
- By submitting an application for a position at Finclusion, each prospective candidate explicitly consents to fulfilling the duties outlined in the position description, as well as any supplementary responsibilities that may be added or modified over time.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills: The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Positions & Duties
Each new member to the Finclusion leadership team will be placed on a temporary probationary period, with conditional requirements being decided based on position and department.
Upon selection into office, each staff member will serve until the end of the school year or until they are removed from office. A staff member can be removed from office if requested by their department head through a Petition for Removal.
Positions in the Finclusion leadership team are competitive. Your quality of submission in the Application Form will be heavily considered in a final decision. Good luck in your application process!

- Fundraising Coordinator
- Outreach Director
- Marketing Specialist
- Programs Coordinator
- Regional Ambassador
Notes
- All positions within Finclusion provide opportunities for professional growth and advancement. Promotions will be granted based on a staff's demonstrated contributions and unwavering commitment to the success of the organization.
- At Finclusion, we value a culture of continuous learning and development. We do not expect staff to possess mastery of every task assigned to them. Instead, we encourage staff to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to competently execute their duties.
- Staff members are eligible to log volunteer hours to attain the President’s Volunteer Service Award

Fundraising Coordinator
- Reach out to relevant companies to donate to Finclusion
- Coordinate and host local fundraisers for Finclusion
- Work with the VP of Finance to complete other department objectives
Recommended Skills:
- Experience with identifying prospective sponsors
- Professionalism
- Great communication
Commitment:
- Work on assigned tasks (approx. 1-2 hours per week)
- Time commitment may vary depending on certain grant cycles
Sponsorship and Grant Coordinator
- Find and complete grant and sponsorship applications
- Work with the VP of Finance to complete other department objectives
Recommended Skills:
- Experience with identifying prospective sponsors and/or researching and applying for grants, cold emailing experience
- Professionalism
- Great communication
Commitment:
- Work on assigned tasks (approx. 1-2 hours per week)
- Time commitment may vary depending on certain grant cycles
Outreach Coordinator
- Plan and coordinate activities to strengthen Finclusion’s public image
- Reach out to news outlets to coordinate media releases
- Reach out to organizations to develop partnerships
Recommended Skills:
- Experience with identifying prospective partnerships and/or reaching out to news outlets
- Professionalism
- Great communication
Commitment:
- Work on assigned tasks (approx. 1-2 hours per week)
- Time commitment may vary depending on certain grant cycles
Marketing Specialist
- Promote Finclusion through different forms of reaching people (Forums, discord, etc.)
- Create financial literacy content for social media account
- Work with the VP of Marketing to fulfill department objectives

- Experience with marketing organization to reach niche

- Demonstrates responsibility for assigned tasks
Commitment:
- Weekly meeting
- Work on assigned tasks (approx. 1-2 hours per week)
Programs Coordinator
- Develop testing questions for FinclusionBowl’s semi-annual competition
- Coordinate/ recruit mentors for Finclusion’s mentorship program
- Work with the VP of Programs to fulfill department objectives
Recommended Skills:
- Experience with outreach and knowledge in investments
- Professionalism
- Great communication
- Demonstrates responsibility for assigned tasks
Commitment:
- Weekly meeting
- Work on assigned tasks (approx. 1-2 hours per week)
Regional Ambassador
- Reach out to students and faculty through social media and email to expand Finclusion’s programs
- Can be promoted to Regional Director if you onboard 75+ members
- Work in Expansion department with other Regional Ambassadors and Directors
Recommended skills:
- Communication and proficiency in different social media platforms (ex: LinkedIn, Instagram, Reddit, etc.)
- Proactive in checking social media and fast response time
