The Math CDT will be given today in your Math classes. Please make sure you bring your fully charged Chromebook.
7th and 8th grade softball will be meeting in the large gym, on Wednesday the 27th during PennTime to discuss tryouts and paperwork.

Interested in playing Ultimate Frisbee, America’s fastest growing sport? North Penn Ultimate Frisbee Club would like to invite any interested students to our information session on Monday, February 25 at 7pm in room K30.
This is open to all 9th grade boys. Tryouts will begin March 4th from 4-6pm. All boys interested should plan to attend a meeting with the coaches 7pm on Thursday for important tryout information. After the meeting, the boys are welcomed to stay and play at the open gym.
Sign ups for February PRIDE are going on now! Go to your grade level student activities classroom to read the post by Mr. Bashaw. You will find the link to the February PRIDE form located within his post. Have fun!
Any student interested in taking the late bus on Tuesdays and Thursdays must now sign-up using the Late Bus Google Form located on Penndale’s website under Penndale Information. You must be signed up each day along with the activity you are participating in before 3:00 pm to ride the bus. Security will be at the buses to verify those students that signed up for the late bus. Reminder, once you leave school grounds, you may not take the late bus.
All announcements are sent via NPSD student Gmail. If you do not know how to access your Gmail account, please ask any staff member for assistance. To access your grade level Google Classroom, you must join it. The codes are as follows:

The only announcements that will be read at the beginning of PennTime are student accolades and Penndale PRIDE reminders.
Bus passes will no longer be issued. Students staying for after school activities may ride a late bus on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Students need a Penndale ID to ride late buses. Departure is 5:15.
If the home address, home/cell phone number or guardianship of your child changes, please contact the Guidance Secretary, Mrs. Lynam at firstname.lastname@example.org or Mrs. Moore at email@example.com at 215-368-2700, choose the Guidance option.
For your convenience, School Nutrition Services now provides online free/reduced price school meal applications, school meal account payments and information all in one place! It is one stop for all processes at: www.schoolcafe.com or on their new App for Android and Apple! SchoolCafe can now be used to apply for free or reduced priced meals as well as to view student purchases, set up low balance alerts and to set up auto replenish on the account, all at no cost. However, when using a credit card to apply money to the account, there is a $20 minimum payment and a small convenience fee. Please note, parents can avoid the convenience fee by sending in cash, a check or money order with their student (payable to NPSNS). If you would like to set up restrictions on your student’s account or transfer money from one student to another, please call the SNS office at 215-853-1081. School Nutrition Services notifies parents when their student charges against their account.
All absences should be made by an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling 215.853.1704 or fax to 215.368.1687. If your student arrives late, they must present an excuse for tardiness at the main office. If a phone call, email or fax is not received by the attendance secretary, the excuse will be unexcused. If you have already reported the absence to attendance by anyone of these means, you DO NOT have to notify the school in any other way. If your student attends North Montco Technical Career Center, you will also have to call them at 215-368-1177.
For questions or information about picking up your student during the school day, please call 215-368-2700. A note sent in the morning would be helpful. Please ask your child to bring the note to the main office in order to obtain a pass.
Student replacement cards are available from Mrs. Hartzell in the main office for $3.00
Students are not permitted to be using cell phones to call home when they are ill. Students need to visit the nurse and the nurse will call the parent/ guardian to come and get the student. Please remind your student(s) regarding this rule.
If going on vacation during the school year, please make sure to send a note at least one week in advance to the Guidance Office. Students will be issued school work which must be turned in upon return from vacation. If your absence will exceed ten school days, you will need to contact the NPSD Registrar at 215-368-0400 to make an appointment to re-register your student before returning to school.
All visitors are welcomed to Penndale and required to show their NPSD staff ID or a valid driver’s license at our reception desk. If you are coming to an IEP, Team or Teacher meeting or to volunteer, you must show your license and register with our new security system.
