Learning Recovery and Extended Learning Plan

Beyond 2021-22 School Year

The Shelby City Schools will be offering Jump Start to help students strengthen necessary skills to begin the 2021-22 school year with a head start!

August 2021-Kindergarten Jump Start

We will be utilizing a traditional summer school model for credit recovery, and a jumpstart model for students entering Kindergarten. In addition, Whippet Academy addresses specific needs of students in grades 6-12 who are not experiencing success with a traditional school format. Whippet Academy will be a combination of in-person, and online schedules. During the school year, we will utilize support staff to provide additional support both throughout the school day and year as needed.
