This Week We…

Math: Began our next Math Unit. We are focusing on measuring to the nearest quarter inch using a ruler, representing data in graphs, and metric unit conversion Parent Info Parent Info 

 
ELA: We continued discovering A Great Heart by introducing our new text, Love That Dog.  Parent Info

Science/Social Studies: We began our new Social Studies unit by exploring the first European settlers in the Carolinas.

Social Emotional Learning (SEL): 

We are continuing to explore digital citizenship by determining private versus personal information and exploring our online tracks.

Next Week We Will…

Math: Begin our next Math Unit. We will be focusing on how to represent data in graphs as well as metric unit conversion. Parent Info 

ELA: We will make deeper explorations of Love That Dog and explore poetic elements.  Parent Info

Science/Social Studies: Continue our Social Studies unit by doing a project from the perspective of a European explorer.

We will dive into Emotional Regulation in Second Step.  Second Step

Continue digital citizenship.
