✨ What is it?

Humility is often overlooked, but it has a surprisingly powerful impact on how we live, lead, and relate to others. In this journey, we’ll explore the foundations of humility—drawing from both contemporary research and a Christian-rooted perspective—while holding space for diverse viewpoints and encouraging personal growth.

This experience blends the warmth of in-person connection with the ease of virtual facilitation—what we call “hybrid hospitality.” A host will invite 1-2  friends (your friendlet) to join them in person. Together, you’ll join a few other friendlets online for weekly, guided gatherings.

This pilot offering is part of the broader initiative, A Cup of humiliTEA, which exists to educate and cultivate the practice of humility in private and communal spaces, one cup and connection at a time.

🫖 How it works

 Each session includes:
    • A mini-lesson and whole-group interaction
    • Breakout discussion with one other friendlet
    • Time to reflect and discuss within your friendlet

🌿 Who is this for?

FAQ’s

Q: What’s a “friendlet”?
A small in-person group of 2–3 people—you and 1 or 2 friends you invite to do this with you.

Q: Is this religious?
A Pot of humiliTEA is rooted in both 21st-century research and the Christian tradition. It’s a space dedicated to honest, respectful dialogue that is—well— humble. It’s designed to welcome people from many perspectives who are open to meaningful conversations about humility and personal growth.

Q: What if I’m nervous about hosting?
You don’t have to be fancy! Just offer presence and a space to gather. I’ll guide the rest.

Q: How do I explain this to the friend I want to invite?
Great question—and good news: you don’t need a polished pitch! The simplest way is to let them know you're interested in exploring humility and would love to do it together.
