Adirondack Runners - High school seniors from school districts in Warren, Washington, Hamilton, Essex, and Saratoga Counties, or high school seniors who are TAR members-in-good-standing attending any high school. Committed to attend a fully accredited 2 or 4 year college or university on a full-time basis. $600 Deadline: April 19, 2019

The Nick Birchak Strength of Character College Scholarship and The Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York Scholarship - Both scholarships are awarded to students who are currently being treated for epilepsy and have plans to further their education. $1,000. Deadline: Friday, March 15, 2019

New York State Association of Agricultural Fairs and New York State Showpeople’s Association - For students who have been active in their local fairs or outdoor amusement business and who intend to pursue or who intend to pursue or who are pursuing a degree. Apply at www.nyfairs.org $1,000 Deadline: 1st Friday in April

Adirondack Paralegal Association Scholarship - There is no requirement that the student be entering the legal field.  This application is open to any and all students seeking higher education assistance. Deadline: March 8, 2019

NYSUT Retiree Council 10 Scholarship - Open to high school seniors pursuing a degree in education at either a two-year college transfer program or a four-year college $1,000 Deadline: March 14, 2019


The Schuylerville Community Theater Scholarship

Young Women in Public Affairs Award - The goal of the Zonta International Young Women in Public Affairs (YWPA) Award Program is to encourage more young women to participate in public affairs by recognizing a commitment to the volunteer sector, evidence of volunteer leadership achievements and a dedication to empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy. Jean M. Coon Award - High School junior or senior students who perform outstanding community service may apply by submitting a completed application and reference letter to a Zonta club in their locality. Academic achievement is not relevant. www.zontaclubofglensfalls.org Deadline March 11, 2019

Bridging People and Places Scholarship - This annual scholarship of up to $500 is offered to any young person who has faced a serious illness or serious life crisis. Applicants must be enrolled in a certified technical or vocational training program, or an undergraduate or graduate program, for the semester following the application. William Morehouse Scholarship - The applicant must be a high school senior planning to attend a one, two, or four-year college or a certificate program. Applicant must desire and pursue a career in residential construction or a construction related field. Applicant is responsible for contacting NYSBA to set up an interview by March 1, 2019

Adirondack School Counseling Association Scholarship - The Adirondack School Counseling Association provides a $1500 Scholarship to a senior planning to attend a 4-year college or university. Student must plan to study human services, sociology, psychology or a related “helping” field. Student has demonstrated record of serving others in a humanitarian way. Deadline: April 18, 2019

Tri-County Branch of the Women’s National Farm and Garden Association Scholarship - This scholarship is offered to a graduating senior planning on majoring in an agricultural, environmental, forestry, horticulture, or oceanographic related field. $500

Deadline: May 1, 2019

The Sandy Hill Foundation Grants - Grants will be awarded on academic performance and achievements, standard educational test, financial need and letters of recommendation received relating to the character, motivation and potential of the individual.  $2500 Deadline: April 1, 2019

Robert J. Nolan Foundation Scholarship- Awarded to a scholar athlete who intends to continue their athletic pursuits in college. Application can be found online at www.rjnolanfoundation.org Deadline: April 5, 2019

SANNYS 2019 Retiree Scholarship - Open to any high school senior graduating in June 2019. Applicants must be sponsored by a current SAANYS active or associate retiree member in good standing. Students must have demonstrated good school and community citizenship, are planning to go on to higher education, and who otherwise satisfy criteria by the SAANYS Retiree Scholarship committee. Deadline: April 1, 2019

Susan Kennedy Johnston Scholarship - This $1,000 scholarship is for a student who will pursue a major in English/Literature. This is an essay competition and the essay should be turned into the Guidance Office by April 26, 2019  .Essay Prompt  Discuss an influential book or article which has changed your outlook. This prompt is mostly about demonstrating that you’re capable of assessing new ideas and determining whether or not they’re right for you. After all, most of education is about encountering new ideas and fitting them into your world view.

The Barnstormers SMC Community Award - This $250 award is given to a graduating senior from Hudson Falls Central School. This award is given based on character not academic achievement. Deadline: Mach 29, 2019

Hudson Mohawk Area Health Education Center Scholarship- This $500 scholarship is for high school seniors entering and approved healthcare related program at a local community college and/or a certification program. Deadline: April 1, 2019

Operation Adopt a Soldier Scholarship - This $250 scholarship is available to a graduating senior who has had a member of their family serve in the military. Deadline: April 1, 2019

Zonta Club of Glens Falls Scholarship - Applicant must be a graduating high school senior from Warren, Washington, or Northern Saratoga County. Applicant must demonstrate financial need and academic success, school and community involvement, and a talent or dream for future success. Deadline: April 15, 2019

Hudson Falls Teachers Association Scholarship - This scholarship is given based on need, citizenship, and contribution to school and community. Deadline: May 3, 2019

Hudson Falls Middle School Team Albany Scholarship - Open to any student who was on Team Albany in middle school. Deadline: May 3, 2019

Capital District Counseling Association Scholarship - $1,000 Available to local students who are enrolling at a Capital Region undergraduate or graduate institution. Deadline: May 1, 2019

Finch Paper/Paul Smith’s School of Logging Scholarship - Finch Paper is offering two fully paid scholarships for individuals 18 years or older who wish to attend the 4 week logging program at Paul Smith’s School of Logging. Deadline: April 20, 2019

Tri County Executive Officer’s Committee Scholarship - $500 This scholarship is for a graduating senior who is continuing their education and pursuing a career in the field of food service/hospitality, Ie: chef, cook-manager, restaurant, school, healthcare, or Dietitian. Deadline: April 1, 2019

Sara M. Chase Duffany Scholarship - $500 This scholarship is awarded to a student pursuing a career in either the educational or medical field. Deadline: May 17, 2019

The Ben Osborn Scholarship - $500 The Ben Osborn Memorial Fund Scholarship is awarded to two students who meet the following criteria: a good character, charitable heart, current need, commitment to self-improvement, service to others oriented. Deadline: May 1, 2019

Hudson Falls Fish and Game Club Scholarship - Each candidate is considered on the basis of scholarship, community involvement, need, and pursuing a college major in any field of conservation and or Game Management. Deadline: May 1, 2019

Hilltop Construction Scholarship - $1,000 This scholarship is awarded to a student planning on furthering their education in the building trades, such as construction, plumbing,electrical, drafting, surveying, or engineering. Deadline: May 4, 2019

The Larue-King Scholarship - This scholarship is open to any graduating senior boy or girl of Hudson Falls High School regardless of religious faith, who has been accepted by an institution of higher learning for technical or professional study. Deadline: May 17, 2019
