JUNE 2019 MONTHLY FEATURE

Happy “start” to summer, or so it seems here in Seattle.  With the teaser of warm sunshine this first week of June, we are now preparing for the big thunderstorm looming ahead.  Dress in layers they say.  :)

Now that we are new-ish to this monthly feature, we thought it would be appropriate to share a special video with you all that we had created a few years ago.  Being that our focus for these regular articles is “all things prematurity,” we decided that it’s important to go back to the basics.

MANY have been impacted by prematurity, by lengthly NICU stays, by oodles of ongoing follow-up appointments and therapy…..and then there are the others who have never seen inside a NICU.  A Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.  The medical jargon, the complexity of caring for such a delicate life, the amount of specialty staff needed - the word OVERWHELMING comes to the forefront of one’s mind.

Join us as we journey through a level IV NICU, with real-life people, babies and professionals all with one goal in mind; survival.  WATCH HERE → https://vimeo.com/141217672

Together let’s lower these statistics.  One life at a time.
