Educational resources for fluoroscopy operators
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, HMWMD- Radiation Control Program, X-ray Certification Unit compiled a list of educational programs from various sources. This list is not exclusive and many other educational resources may be available. The X-Ray Certification Unit does not endorse or promote any part of this list. The department is not responsible for the content of any of these educational sources. Information is subject to change without notice.
See below for a breakdown of the course credits, estimated cost of the program(s) and a link to the course. In general, courses can be found by searching "fluoroscopy continuing education courses” on the internet. The training content should cover the following topics: radiation physics; radiation biology; radiation safety and radiation management applicable to fluoroscopy.
This list does not include all resources that meet the fluoroscopy education requirements. The department will review education credits on a case-by-case basis. If there is a question regarding Continuing Education Unit (CEU) eligibility, please submit the CEU to: cdphe.hmxraycomments@state.co.us for review.
