Public Health, Social Media, and Science Communication

Join us for a facilitated discussion, in light of recent and ongoing events, on public health approaches to science communication in the social media age. Should scientific communications and institutions try to remain above the fray, as it were? To what extent should social media training and cyber awareness be part of medical professional training? How have our local and regional institutions in west London, and city-wide, fared in tackling these challenges? What lessons can we learn from elsewhere in the country, and worldwide, in this respect? Come along to find out.
