The Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning (TCML) at Ming Hui Academy Boston invites adults aged 18 and older to join our immersive Chinese language and culture program this fall.
Our curriculum emphasizes practical Mandarin proficiency—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—using traditional Chinese characters. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to advance your skills, our program is thoughtfully designed to support your language goals.
In addition to language instruction, students will explore Taiwanese culture through a variety of enriching activities and workshops. These experiences offer unique insights into the Taiwanese vibrant heritage, customs, and traditions.

Experience a Unique Mandarin Learning Journey at the Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning at Ming Hui Academy Boston
The Taiwan Center for Mandarin Learning (TCML) at Ming Hui Academy Boston offers a dynamic and culturally immersive Mandarin learning experience for adult students. With generous support from the Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC), Republic of China (Taiwan), our program provides students with complimentary learning materials, including textbooks, workbooks, and audio resources.
Classes meet for three hours each week, combining structured language instruction with engaging cultural content. In addition, students are invited to join optional cultural enrichment sessions held every other Saturday from 1:00–2:30 PM. These workshops offer hands-on experiences in a range of traditional Taiwanese arts and practices, such as:
This integrated approach allows students to not only build strong language skills but also develop a meaningful appreciation of Taiwanese culture and heritage.
