Topic: The Ugliness & Hatred American Parents Pass On to Their Children
The Lord creates perfectly good, tiny, human beings - but, then, hatred-filled parents take innocent babies and fill them with ugliness. American parents teach sweet, little babies to hate others. American parents teach sweet, little babies to hate the poor, to hate those in need of homes, to hate people of other cultures, and to hate all those whom their parents have hated. These children, then, grow up and commit acts of hatred within their communities. These hate-conditioned children grow up and pour out all their hatred upon everyone their parents have conditioned them to hate. These acts of hatred range from subtle, sustained acts of unfriendliness, meanness, and exclusion to egregious actions of violence against entire communities.
Those seeds of hatred that generations of American parents have sown are being reaped today. Yet, American parents do not examine themselves. Communities exclaim that ‘evil’ has been exacted upon them, when event after hatred-filled event occurs. Yet, I have not heard any dialogue about how American citizens, themselves, are creating the atmosphere of hatred in America by perpetually teaching their children, generation after generation, to hate, despise, and exclude each other.
People Can Not Hate God and Then Expect to Love Each Other
The American people need to understand how (and why) they are contributing to the acts of hatred that are escalating in America. Sin and the rejection of God are the root of the problems in America (and in the world). The American people need to REPENT of their sins and of their hatred of God, and the people must turn their lives to God. People can not hate God and then expect to love each other; people can not be filled with sin and then expect to behave with righteousness toward each other. People must first repent of their sins, turn to God, and love God - in order to have the power to love each other and in order to have the power to be righteous toward each other. For those who profess to know Christ, yet look just like those who are unsaved, you must repent and make the decision to live lives as disciples of Christ - and be transformed into people who resemble Christ. -------
Matthew 22:36-40 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” -------
Inspiration For This Column: This column was inspired by a physical education teacher at Mesa College in San Diego, Ca., whom I encountered outside the Women’s Gym (c. summer, 2016). The woman was accompanied by her little daughter. The woman’s spirit was so thick with ugliness and meanness that the woman’s spirit appeared violent. If this woman does not turn from the hatred within her heart, she will pass on to her daughter the hatred that the woman, herself, inherited. The woman will make her own daughter a beneficiary of America’s generational hatred. Parents need to consider that when they teach their children to hate, to be mean-spirited, and to exclude others, parents are taking God’s own sweet, little babies and turning them into real-life, living monsters.
----------- How To Repent: 1) Ask God to forgive you of your sins, 2) Turn away from your sins: Reflect, Mourn, commit those sins no more, 3) Believe the Gospel: There is only One God, Jehovah - and the only way to God, Salvation, and Forgiveness of sin is through faith in Christ Jesus, 4) Read the Bible, Day and Night - so that you will know how to walk in accordance to God’s laws (Joshua 1:8), 5) Be Transformed: You must allow God to transform you into a person who reflects the heart, spirit, ways, and laws of God.
