Sent a document to the renamed printer but it did not print. | - Verify that the correct printer name is selected to print.
- Verify the printer you normally print to is ‘Set as default printer’ (Green circle with checkmark).If not, for Windows systems, search or select ‘Devices and Printers’.‘Right Click’ the printer and from the drop down list, click ‘Set as default printer’.
- If you print to a Ricoh copier, verify that the User Code (if needed) is set. To do this for Windows systems, search or select ‘Devices and Printers’. Right click the printer and click ‘Printer preferences’.Select ‘Detail Settings’ tab and select ‘Job Setup’ box from ‘Menu’ selections. Enter your code in ‘User Code’.
- Send a test page to the printer. To do this for Windows systems, search or select ‘Devices and Printers’. Right click the printer and from the drop down list, click ‘Printer Properties’ and under the ‘General’ tab, click ‘Print Test Page’ If the printer prints a test page then it is correctly set up on your computer.
