Computing Y5 S2 TA HopScotch - Thinking about and applying rules.

We will look at a program that links Hopscotch coding to maths.

A character needs to move using swipe.

When it  bumps into another character an answer to a maths question will be revealed. Is it the correct answer?

To be successful you will need to use previous knowledge to plan and create a program.

Computing Y5 S2 TA HopScotch - Planning and thinking about rules before creating a program

We will look at a program that links Hopscotch coding to maths. A character needs to move using swipe and if it bumps into another character an answer to a maths question will be revealed. Is it the correct answer?

To be successful you will need to think about and apply previous knowledge to create a program to achieve a goal. You will need to  use logical reasoning; think about rules and instructions; recap and understand sequencing, variables, inputs and outputs and understand the code you use.
