4-Year Term, Next Election: 2027
The Board generally meets on the second Wednesday at 2 p.m. and the fourth Wednesday at 6 p.m. Generally, the Board holds only one meeting in the months of June, July, August, November and December. In June, July and August, the meeting is held on the fourth Wednesday, while in November and December the one meeting is held on the second Wednesday. The Board can also schedule special meetings. The Board meets in the Board Room in the Administrative Building at Hanover Courthouse, 7516 County Complex Road, Hanover, VA 23069.

The school board traditionally meets on the second Tuesday of each month. The school board will enter the closed meeting at 6:00 p.m. preceding its regularly scheduled 7:00 p.m. meeting which is open to the public. Dates and times are subject to change. Additional meetings may be scheduled as needed.
