Dual-Pitching Machine Maintenance Checklist
Daily Walkaround: est. 3 minutes
- Baseballs in the top bin
- Softballs in the bottom bin
- Wires and cables secured with zip ties (RPM Sensor Cables, Throwing Motor Cables, BB & SB Actuator Wiring Harness secured to Plate)
- Throwing Fingers in working condition (If cracked, loose, or missing throwing fingers: submit a case for replacement)
2-Week Inspection: est. 5 minutes
- Check Tire Pressure (PSI 15-17)
- Examine the Motor Shaft (no excessive movement)
- Clean machines (blow out debris in ball bins)
Monthly Diagnostic Test: est. 2 minutes
Items to Check:
- Elevation axis (home and park)
- Ball feed (feeds to the switch)
- Actuator (homes)
- RPM Sensors (reading for each tire)
