Tammy give the welcome and we have 25 participants

Agenda were shared and talk about some topics.

Talked about spring wetlands festival, people who agree to help with this.

Thank you to all the donors for spring cloth drive.

Spring activities are coming up, we are looking up for outdoor movie night, someone is interesting to helping with this activity please contact me.  Scavenger hunt is a great idea.  APR have fun activities. Last but not least 5th grade promotion, we want to make something special.

Treasure report; Jenny Morris shared income and expenses and some expenses that coming up.

Jessica Haney; she talk about the memory book, different vendors and how this will work.

Tammy we need to work on our budget for 5th grade promotion.

Ms. Christy talk about students for last year they didn’t get nothing, Ms. Nesselrode made a remark of Campbell activities and PTA activities.   Teachers for 5th grade last year share some thoughts about promotion and activities done last year with those students.  Ms. Nesselrode talk teacher need to plan something and then they will talk with Tammy.

Barbara Martinez said maybe we can add more money to the budget of 5th grade promotion? Jenny explained that this has to be on separate box.

Liz Ryan said we need to keep this simple not a fancy cover.

Motion approved for memory book.

We need to talk about sings that we can put on our yards to congratulate 5th grade students.  

We officially will present the committee for next year, Lee Anne Gales present the nominates. Please let us know if you willing to support this committee.

Ms. Allen (Special Educator) talk about Upstanders Club, who can participate and the environment of this club. Any Campbell parent or guardian are welcome to participate also staff, we can make Campbell not place to hate. We will meet two monthly meetings. Please feel free to communicate with Ms. Allen or Ms. Sullivan.

Ms. Nesselrode give the principals update, nothing new this time, she share percentage of virtual and hybrid students.

Is important to tune about County budget, Campbell may not have a major chances of staff. Boundaries may not affect Campbell this year but maybe if you have kids in another school they will be have some changes. At this moment we not have any middle school tours and also not field trips.

Tammy, congratulate Ms. Anselmo because is Assistance principal appreciation week.

Ms. Cristina Diaz-Torrez share a power point presentation. Please post a question on chat.  She talk about the summit of videos to thank APS staff.  Talk about return to school. Schoolboard action plan 2020-2021. Resource to connect with School Board.  

Questions?  Any word about after school buses? C/ we will keep the buses this will work different.

Survey Superintend, there is three major topics about next year school. This survey will open for parents at the end of April.

Ms. O’Connor ask about cola (rising payment?) As a board member I’m working to improve the number, compensation. The best way to work with this is by email.

We need to advocate for the mess over Carling Spring with the installation of the poles. Cristina.diaztorres@apsva.us
