Project 2 – Augmented Reality

Deadline: 22/03/2022 as 9:45, via itch.io

Teams: pairs.

Blackboard: send the project git link

Project's goal:

Development of an Augmented Reality application. You have to show an application (can run on Desktop or Mobile) that shows a 3D object floating over a marker. The development should be done in teams of up to 2 students. The main objective is for students to demonstrate that they can develop an Augmented Reality application.

You may use other tools as you wish, however at your own risk.

Delivery:

To deliver the project, you must send a zip file or the git link of your project. If you want, you can also create a build. If you are doing it in pairs, make sure all the names are clear in the submission so that the professor can identify and publish the notes on Blackboard.

Project Rating:

The project will be evaluated according to the completion of the task. You should be able to scan a 3D Object and include an augmented reality application.

Additional Rules: The project deadline is strict and Blackboard will block new submissions. If the link is not posted on Blackboard, the work will not be considered delivered. There is a penalty of one point for every 24 hours of delay.

Warning:

Projects will be examined for plagiarism. If you base it on some code from the Internet, make it clear where you got it and give credit. It is normal for you to look for examples on the internet to understand how something works, what is not acceptable is copying long snippets of code from the internet and not giving credit. If it's a few lines, 2 or 3 for example, you don't need to reference it, if it's more than that, tell me where you got it. Using colleagues' projects is more critical, don't copy code from your colleagues, it's always healthy to talk to have and give help, but not to give ready code.
