Q: What is the Suncoast Golf Trail Membership?

A: Thank you for your interest, the Suncoast Golf Trail Membership is a calendar year annual membership program that provides current Suncoast Golf Trail Members access to special member rates at our participating clubs, exclusive preview/play dates, and playing opportunities until December 31st of the membership program’s indicated year (year on the card). Other member benefits include discounts on select golf merchandise on brands such as Titleist, TaylorMade, & Callaway of up to 25% off retail, and a free access pass for the card holding member to the Korn Ferry Tour's LECOM Suncoast Classic at Lakewood National in the beginning of the year.

Q: When is the Suncoast Golf Trail Card valid until?

A: The Suncoast Golf Trail Membership is a calendar year annual membership program valid from the date of purchase until December 31st of the year indicated as the membership’s program year (year listed on the membership card). Membership must be purchased again the following year to continue receiving membership benefits.

Q: If I purchase the membership card prior to the membership program year, when can I start using the benefits and how long will it be good for?

A: Member benefits may be utilized immediately after completing the order process. If a membership card is purchased early during a period prior to the start of the membership program year (ex: 2021 Membership card purchased in November of 2020), consider the additional time as *bonus* days. Membership benefits can be utilized immediately after purchase and are valid until December 31st of the year indicated as the membership’s program year. For example, if you purchase a 2021 Suncoast Golf Trail membership on November 1st, 2020, you will receive the membership benefits for November and December of 2020 in addition to the 2021 calendar year (expiring Dec 31, 2021).

Q: What’s the best way to find out the rates and benefits of the Suncoast Golf Trail Card Membership?

A: The best way to find out current course rates and card benefits of the Suncoast Golf Trail Card is to visit our website’s rate page at https://suncoastgolftrail.com/rates/. Additionally, as they are announced, new rates and benefits will be emailed to the email address you submitted during sign up. Members can also enjoy discounts on merchandise purchased from our website in our online store as well as a free access pass for the card holding member to the Korn Ferry Tour's LECOM Suncoast Classic at Lakewood National in the beginning of the year.

Q: How do I book tee times using the Suncoast Golf Trail Card?

A: If you wish to check availability for play at a Suncoast Golf Course and set up a tee time, please contact the club you wish to play directly. Our participating golf course list and contact information for each individual clubs can be found on our website on the individual course’s page or on our rate page,  https://suncoastgolftrail.com/rates/. When contacting the club, identify yourself as a Suncoast Golf Trail Card Member to take advantage of the current advertised discount. On the day of play, present your current Suncoast Golf Trail Card at the golf course at check-in before teeing off.

Q: How far in advance can I make a tee time?

A: A few of our participating courses allow an advanced booking of 6-7 days while others might not. Each golf course could have different requirements. In general, most courses will accept a booking of no more than 7 days in advance, however, we would suggest reaching out to the golf course that you are interested in to determine their protocol on booking tee times. 

Q: When are course rates updated?

A: Rates are updated upon expiration of each course's provided date range as soon as we receive them from our participating courses. Occasionally, we receive the new rates a few days past the current expiration date range from the courses due to unforeseen reasons. To view the current rates available to Suncoast Members at our participating courses, please visit the rate page on our website at https://www.suncoastgolftrail.com/rates/. The date in which the rate page was last updated is indicated on the top right of the rate page form.

Q: I’m interested in getting a membership card, how do I purchase the card and go about paying?

A: Thank you for your question and for your interest in the Suncoast Golf Trail. To sign up for a Suncoast Golf Trail Membership Card, please visit our shop by going through the ‘shop’ link at the top right of our website https://www.suncoastgolftrail.com/ or to go directly to the membership card page, click this link https://suncoastgolftrail.mybigcommerce.com/membership-card/. Choose the quantity, then select ‘add to cart’. Once viewing the cart page, select ‘check out’. During the check-out process you will be asked your email, mailing address, name (or multiple names if purchasing multiple cards at the same time- enter each name separated by a space, comma, or forward\backslash), and billing address. Section 4 of the check-out process will ask for payment details. If you would like to utilize a credit or debit card, complete the form, including the card number, expiration date, name on card, & security code, then select ‘place order’. If you would prefer to use a PayPal account, you may select PayPal as the payment options to complete the order process with your PayPal account.

Upon completion of your order, you will receive a few emails. First will be an order confirmation, you may show that confirmation email at any of our participating golf courses immediately by printing a copy or showing on a smart phone. Membership cards are printed and mailed every few days and are valid until Dec 31 of the membership program’s indicated year. You will also receive an email receipt from PayPal, PayPal is our online bank so even if you paid with a credit card, you would still receive this email but again this is only a receipt. Lastly you will receive an email offering you to create a password to login to your account on our website to gain access to member only benefits on golf merchandise and to see your order history.

Q: I purchased my Suncoast Trail Card online; can I use the benefits before the card arrives?

A: Yes, benefits and discounts may be utilized immediately upon joining the Suncoast Golf Trail. You are welcome to print or show the email confirmation on a smart phone at any of our participating golf courses on the day of play prior to teeing off to utilize the membership discounts. If you do not see the order confirmation in your inbox, please check your junk or spam folders. See the FAQ above for information on how to book a tee time using your exclusive Suncoast discounts. Merchandise discounts are available to Suncoast Members after creating a password and logging in to our shop website. Your personalized membership card is being processed and created upon purchase. Cards are printed every few business days but depending on the postal service could take up to 2 weeks to be delivered. If however you have not received your membership card in a reasonable amount of time, please contact the office during normal business hours or send an email to support@suncoastgolfcard.com to confirm your mailing address.

Q: I am a snowbird; does it make sense to purchase your card.

A: While difficult to directly answer your question without knowing how much golf you like to play or which courses you would like to frequent, I can say from speaking with other members, they make up the cost of the Suncoast Golf Trail Membership in just a few rounds. To see our current course rates, please visit our website's rate page at https://www.suncoastgolftrail.com/rates. You may contact the golf courses you are interested in to find out their rack rates to determine the savings of having the Suncoast membership. Our membership benefits are available from the day of purchase until December 31 of the year of the membership card.

Q: I would like to purchase your membership but don’t have a local address, I live in Canada. What do you suggest?

A: Thank you for your interest. We apologize, the system will not allow you to enter a Canadian address (or another country other than the USA) as a shipping address as we have merchandise available for purchase for Suncoast Members. We do have an option ONLY available for the physical membership card, NOT merchandise due to taxes and Goods and Services Tax (GST) and/or duty. Our participating golf courses will accept the email confirmation as proof of membership so you may print or show your order confirmation from your email in lieu of the physical card if you are already in the local area. If you would like to have the membership card mailed to your location in Canada, you may enter the Suncoast Golf Trail’s mailing address as your own shipping address during the ordering process, please then type in the notes to indicate your request to have your membership card mailed to your billing address in Canada (you may additionally contact our office via email or phone with that information indicating your order number). Again, this option is ONLY available for the membership card, NOT merchandise, the system will not allow you to enter a Canadian (or other country) address as a shipping address for this reason. Additionally, if you have a friend locally who would offer to accept your mail, you may enter their information in the shipping section. The Suncoast Golf Trail’s address for mailing purposes is 8374 Market Street #233 Bradenton, FL 34202.

Q: Can I have multiple people on one membership?

A: Thank you for your question and for your interest in the Suncoast Golf Trail. Every person requesting membership discounts will require a separate Suncoast Golf Trail Membership. If you are interested in purchasing memberships for multiple individuals, please change the quantity of the cards in your cart to the desired number of membership cards AND then in the field where indicated to type the name(s) for the membership card(s), please indicate all names corresponding to the requested number of cards, you may separate the names with a space, comma, or forward/backslash. Each member will be provided with a membership card with the name chosen at checkout and a unique membership identification number to be presented at check-in. Again, as every member will have equal access to all members only benefits, only one person per membership card is permitted.

Q: Can I bring guests with me when I make a tee time?

A: Most of the courses on the Trail will allow you to bring a guest but only the Suncoast Golf Trail Card holder will receive the membership discounted published rate. Check with the individual club for their public rate for your guest.

Q: I have out of town guests, we are playing one of your courses, if I book all the tee times, can I use my membership to get the discount for all of us?

A: We appreciate you asking, however, every person requesting membership discounts will require a separate Suncoast Golf Trail Membership. As every member will have equal access to all members only benefits, only one person per membership card is permitted and only the Suncoast Golf Trail Card holder will receive the membership discounted published rate.

Q: I would like to bring my child with me to play golf, will they allow him/her to golf with me without a separate card?

A: While the Suncoast Golf Trail doesn't have anything set up specifically for junior golfers and every club has different policies regarding minors, most clubs will likely have a discounted child rate. We recommend when you call to book a tee time, ask the club their policy so you know prior to checking in at the golf course on the day of play.

Q: My membership was purchased as a gift by someone else, how do I set up an account in my name?

A: As your membership was ordered as a gift or on someone else's account, an account in your name was not established for you at the time of the order. Please email or contact the office during normal business hours to provide your name, phone, & email address asking for account to be established in your name with a temporary password. Please remember that you will need to update your password to one of your choice.

Q: An account with temporary password has been set up, how do I update my password?

A: To update your temporary password, please sign in using your temporary password and then go to the account settings page to update the password to one of your choice.

Q: I still need assistance to update my temporary password, do you have instructions?

A: Of course, here are the instructions to update your temporary password: To sign-in to your account, please visit our website at https://suncoastgolftrail.com. Once on our website, click on the words SIGN IN on the top right of the webpage. This sign-in button will link you directly to the login page. Or if you would prefer to go directly to the login page, you may also click here. Note, if you clicked the SHOP button from our main webpage first or don't see the words SIGN IN, look for an icon that looks like the shape of a person in the upper right of the webpage to sign in.

Upon logging in, please view the account settings page to change/reset your password to one of your choice. To get to the account settings page, hover your mouse curser over the icon that looks like the shape of a person, then select 'account settings'.

Once in the account settings, to change your password, start with the field called 'password'. Please enter the new secret password that you would like to use. In the field called 'confirm password', re-enter that secret password. In the last field called 'current password', please enter the temporary password provided to you. After entering the 3 passwords, please click 'Update Details' at the bottom of the page. If the passwords entered match, the page would automatically update and at the top of the page it would show "Your account details have been updated". The password fields will then clear back to blank fields. Your account settings and new password have been updated.

You are welcome to continue to visit our Shop to have a look around at the merchandise or logout if finished with the website by hovering the mouse curser over the icon that looks like the shape of a person and selecting 'log out'. To get back to our main website's rate page, please hover the mouse curser over the HOME icon at the top middle of the page and select 'rates'.

Q: Is there a dress code when you visit a Suncoast Exclusive Golf Course?

A: Golf attire is required at all facilities. Golf attire is defined as no denim, flip flops, or sandals, and collared shirt for men. Also, cell phone usage may be limited in club houses.

Q: I can’t find my membership card; can I request a replacement?

A: Yes, if you have lost or misplaced your membership card, please contact our office to request a replacement card. We may be reached during normal business hours by calling 941-786-0680 or via email to support@suncoastgolfcard.com. Please provide your first and last name, mailing address, phone number, and membership ID (if possible). All members are entitled to one free replacement membership card within the calendar year. Any additional replacement cards after the initial free replacement will be mailed upon request at full retail pricing.

Q: Can I bring my own cooler for beverages when I play golf?

A: Typically, golf course facilities do not allow any outside personal coolers or any type of food or beverage storage device(s). For more details, please contact the individual golf course directly.

Q: Do I need to be a member of the Suncoast Golf Trail to receive discounts on merchandise?

A: Yes, merchandise discounts are available for members only. Please visit our shop https://suncoastgolftrail.mybigcommerce.com/ to purchase your membership card to start taking advantage of discounts on golf equipment from brands such as Titleist, TaylorMade, & Callaway. After you receive your membership order confirmation, create a login and password on our shop website to view discounted merchandise pricing.

Q: What is the Suncoast Golf Trail’s Mill River Purchasing Program?

A: The Mill River Purchasing Program is a member’s buying group designed to provide Suncoast Golf Trail members with discounted pricing on goods purchased through The Suncoast Golf Trail Shop. Shop items will be marked accordingly and will have a Mill River price between 10-15% over cost. The Mill River purchasing program is $19.99, a requirement of The Suncoast Golf Trail membership, and will be billed annually. All Mill River purchases shall be for personal use and gifts only. A member should not use their privilege to purchase items for non-members, unless purchases are made as direct gifts.

Q: I have seen a members only benefit of discounted merchandise on your website, how do I place an order?

A: Visit the shop on our website or go directly to https://suncoastgolftrail.mybigcommerce.com/ where you can view and purchase golf merchandise at highly discounted rates.

Q: I have a membership but do not see special prices on merchandise on your website?

A: Thank you for being a member of the Suncoast Golf Trail, to access discounted pricing on merchandise, you must first be logged in to your account on our website. Please contact our office if you have difficulty logging in and have a current membership card.

Q: Do you offer local pickup for discounted merchandise purchased online?

A: Yes! You can either choose a delivery location (within the USA) or local pick up on merchandise purchased from our website at the time of check out. Free local pick up (merchandise only) is available from our pickup location: Legacy Golf Club at Lakewood Ranch, 8255 Legacy Blvd, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34202. Please note, local pick up is for merchandise only; membership cards must be mailed to a shipping location of your choice (within the USA). Please note, local pickup is only available for golf merchandise, membership cards will be printed and mailed to the shipping address indicated during checkout at no additional charge.

Q: What is your shipping & handling policy?

A: Membership Cards- Suncoast Golf Trail Membership Cards are shipped for free and can be shipped to virtually any address in the United States via USPS from our office in Bradenton, FL. Cards are mailed out within 2-3 business days of purchase.  

Merchandise- Shipping costs vary based upon product category or for your convenience, we offer free local pick up on merchandise only. Merchandise purchased on our website will be processed within 2-3 business days and can be shipped to virtually any address in the United States. You will receive an email once the merchandise has been shipped to the location chosen at checkout or is ready for local pick up at our pick up location at Legacy Golf Club at Lakewood Ranch, 8255 Legacy Blvd, Lakewood Ranch, FL 34202. 

Handling Fee- All orders (membership cards & merchandise) are subject to a separate process & handling fee of $4.95.
