ASSESSOR’S COMMENT

‘Autism’: the description states that “students will share their findings with the school community and the  partner school”. However, Silas isn’t mentioned earlier in the description. As it is written at this moment, I  cannot see the global picture in this activity. It might be useful for students to research the topic in some other  countries for a wider perspective.

ACTION TAKEN ON ASSESSOR’S RECOMMENDATION

There were restraints concerning Autism in Silas International School, as explained by the principal. This led to  collaborating with Empower International Academy in Uganda, to bring global dimension into the activity.
