Kerrville Walking Group

@ the Kerrville River Trail and Beyond

Join like minded outdoor enthusiasts for a healthy excursion on the beautiful Kerrville River Trail. First Saturday of the month walks start at various trailheads. 1. Dietert Center on Guadalupe St.,  2. Schreiner University @ Trailhead Bar,  3. Kerrville-Schreiner Park @ Loop 534.

Normal starting time is 8 AM, but may vary depending on location and weather conditions. After the walk, some participants enjoy going out for coffee, conversation, etc.  Please visit www.kerrville.xyz for the latest information, times and to request email notifications.

On all other Saturday mornings, the Kerrville Walking Group (KWG) has walks at many different locations in the hill country. Join us on our next Saturday morning walk! Our walks will introduce you to places you might have not otherwise visited, or known about. Suggested walk routes are usually 2- 4 miles long at over 70+ locations throughout the gorgeous Texas Hill Country. Since there are no speed or distance requirements, come out and visit with others of similar interests - walking and keeping as healthy as possible. In addition to improved physical well being, scientific studies have also found that walking changes your brain 8 ways for the better (references available). More details are available at the website above.

Note that there is no charge to become a member and most walks are free of charge. Some venues do charge a nominal fee or ask for a donation.
