- Ms. K will record speeches for students that are running for student government
- They will work on improving the Purple Power Dollar Play Space

- Holiday Extravaganza time schedule review
PTA Fundraiser for Basketball Team Penguins uniforms raised $411
- Ms. Cyr may want a bake sale held by PTA for cheerleader team uniform fundraiser
- According to Ms. Simpson, the district provides funds for a uniform
- Ms. Cyr asked parents for $35 for the “own” uniform rather than recycled from District
- Fundraising for the school uniforms must remain with the school and cannot be brought home
Cold weather lunchtime recess concerns
- Indoor recess activities that build fine motor skills like crafting, beading
- When Mr. D is free, students can utilize gym
- Students utilize library to color and read
- PTA may be able to provide funding based on student interest
- Small ideas to start: How to draw videos, How to origami videos with Youtube video resources
Parking in the front is a growing concern
- Sam Berger states that principal must issue a written notice to cars being parked on the front.
- After notices are sent and parking restriction continues to be violated, then the 107th precinct can take action.
- Still working with parks department for leaves cleanup
Afterschool and Enrichent Program Updates
- Townsend Harris Robotics Team is providing instruction in 3D design to Grades 3,4,5 on Fridays, January-February
- $10,000 Grant to partner with Marquis Studio and provide arts enrichment.
- Met with teaching artist to plan to provide enrichment with Kindergarten, 3K and PreK students in the arts.
- Theme will be music and rhythm, making instruments.
- Jan 6-March 24 for 10 weeks to work in 6 classes.
- Will include 3 family workshops (at each grade level) on Tuesdays.
