This document contains information on some of the additional and niche little features that the server has. This will only contain things that regular players will interact with. Additionally, anything made for staff / moderation use will not be included here.
These are plugins that players may know or are generic off-the-shelf plugins that can be downloaded online. This is by no means a complete list, but it will contain some basic ones.
Note: Some of these plugins may be a custom version with modified code to meet Cynagen’s specific use case.
This plugin is used for buying plots at the market. This plugin allows you to buy “admin claims” made using WorldGuard and get access to the area.
This plugin enables the use of flint and steel to modify armor stands (their poses, positions, size, etc).
Map plugin for Cynagen that lets you view the world through your browser.
Logging plugin for logging actions. Used mainly for inspecting and recovering griefs.
Plugin to bridge Minecraft and Discord chat together. Enables the message forwarding from in-game to a Discord channel along with sending messages into a Discord channel to in-game. This plugin is also used for linking your Minecraft account to a Discord account, which lets you access the rest of the Discord.
The Swiss Army Knife of Minecraft plugins. While it doesn’t focus on a specific big use case, it contains a ton of smaller features and tools for servers. This plugins handles a list of things such as /afk, /back, /bal, /pay, /home, /sethome, /msg, /mail, /ignore, /seen, /playtime, /tpa, /warp, and a whole bunch of different stuff.
A simple plugin to limit the mobs in one place to prevent server lag.
WorldEdit, but async so that it doesn’t stall the “main server” when doing large operations.
Removes chat reporting on the server.
Implements land claiming.
Adds things like /sit, /crawl, /spin, etc.
Adds a bunch of different decorative heads to the game.
The cosmetic plugin you see when you do /cosmetics. Handles the cosmetic stuff.
The ban plugin the server uses.
The permission plugin the server uses. This is also responsible for different ranks and their permissions.
mcmmo
Allows you to sell and buy items from chests. Turn a chest into a shop.
Modifies tab to show custom information, ranks, custom texts, etc. Also capable of modify player names (the names shown above a player’s head).
Allows clients with a newer version than the server version to still connect to the server.
Allows clients with an older version than the server version to still connect to the server.
Admin claims. Used to protect things like spawn, market, pvp arena, etc.
These are custom features that have been either made to existing plugins, addons for existing plugins, or just a new custom plugin for the server. This list doesn’t contain the numerous commands / tools for staff or for Kyrobi.
If you’re a server owner wanting items for what to add, here’s a free list of ideas :) I won’t charge a penny for it.
/cosmeticsbuy - command to buy cosmetics
/levels - A custom leveling system based on how much you chat. Works for in-game messages as well as Discord messages.
/pwarp - Command for setting player warps along with changing its properties.
/finditem - Easily search for specific items from all shops.
/searchname - With just a part of a player’s username, this command will show all usernames with that part in it.
/boop, cry, headpat, fart, kiss, poke, slap, tho, superslap, etc. - A bunch of silly little social commands.
/social - Toggles if people can use social commands on you.
/chunktime - Shows the chunk around you and how long they’ve been loaded for.
/colors - Simple command to show basic color codes.
/furrychat - Toggles on or off the furry filter.
/jointime - See when a player first joined the server.
/links - Shows you some handy links
/redeem - Redeem mcMMO credits to level up your mcMMO skills.
/partyleaderboard - Shows the leaderboard for mcMMO parties.
/ping - Command to see your ping or pings of other players.
!playerlist - Discord command. Shows the players on the server.
/reportplayer, playerreport, callmod - Reports stuff to the moderators.
/plots - View all available plots along with plots that are about to expire. Additionally, this command lets you teleport to plots directly by specifying a player name or the plot number.
/pvp - Toggles PvP. By default, pvp is disabled on the server.
/redeemcode - Redeem special stuff with a code.
/shoprules - Shows rules for the shops (market area).
/silentafk - Toggles displaying the AFK message when you go AFK.
/silentjoin - Toggles the join / leave message when you leave / join the server.
/slots - GAMBLING, BABY! WOOO!
/keepinventory - Toggles keep inventory on or off.
/withdraw - Turn your money into a physical item version.
/chestsearch - Search all containers around the player (furnaces, chests, shulkers, etc) for a specific item.
/kidnap - Get kidnapped to a house where you must try to escape.
Claims Menu - Adds a nice simple little menu for your claims. You can use this menu to view your claim stats with ease. Additionally, this adds a flag system in which you can edit the flags in your claims (toggle pvp, ban players from your claims, etc).
Server Buying Your Items - The server, based on an algorithm, will randomly buy items from random players’ shops.
Auto Heart - Automatically converts <3 into the heart emoji.
Bank Note - Adds banknotes into the game that can be deposited or withdrawn.
Chat Cooldown - Enables chat cooldown in-game and on Discord when the server has a lot of players. This is to prevent chat from becoming too hard to keep up with.
Chat Notify - Get alerted when someone mentions your username in-game. You see the message being red and a nukeblock sound plays.
Custom Discord To Minecraft - Custom message forwarding system. When a player is chatting on Discord, a “Disc” prefix will show for that player. Additionally, when a player replies to a message, it will show a reply symbol in-game so that players in-game aren’t confused on what is going on.
Death Coordinates - When you die, the coordinate of your death is shown in chat.
Pet Owner Check - When you right click a tamed animal, it will show you the owner of the owner in chat.
Drakath Armor - Implements Drakath Armor: a late game achievement item along with the effects when wearing the armor.
Durability Warn - Warns the player when a tool is on low durability.
Furry Filter - Adds a little flair and uwu to your messages :3
mcMMO Repair Warning - Shows a confirmation button when a player tries to salvage or repair their item when right clicking on the repair / salvage block for mcmmo.
Mental Health Reminder - Periodically remind player to take a little break as well as including a link to hotlines.
No Arena Armor Damage - Your armors and tools don’t take damage when in the pvp arena.
No Special Item Place - Prevents any items with a lore from being accidentally placed on the ground.
Pigmen EXP - Pigmen will drop AFK when they die. This basically reimplements EXP drop from pigmen that Minecraft removed in 1.21.5
Prevent Lock Map Copy - Prevents locked maps from being copied.
Sage Stick - A stick, when right clicked, will prevent mobs from spawning around you for a period of time.
Shop AFK Notify - When players buy from your shop while you’re AFK, it will re-send you what items were bought once you are no longer AFK.
TPAWarning - Show a warning when a player tries to teleport to you or request you to teleport to them if they have recent punishments on their history.
BLOD/Drakath Reporter - Logs players that have gotten the BLOD / Drakath armor as well as sending it to the announcements channel.
DiscordPlayerAFKNotify - Sends a message to Discord when a player is AFK / No longer AFKs.
PvP Status - Shows a red sword suffix for players that have PvP enabled.
Server Age - Shows in tab the age of the server.
Tab Levels - Shows a number next to players in tab to indicate the amount of months that has passed since the player first joined.
