LCMS Youth Gathering 2025

The St. Luke’s High School Youth are traveling to New Orleans, Louisiana to be encouraged to find Christ in everyday life, love his church, and join his mission. We are going to this equipping conference so that we would bring God’s word to our community more boldly now than ever. On the back of this guide are the names of those who are attending this trip, please pray for them individually and the group collectively.

As we depart for this trip, we pray that God would accomplish his plans among our group so that we would Know Jesus, build Real Relationships, shape Hearts of Humility, and demonstrate Sacrificial Service. God, let our young people be empowered to lead Christ filled lives.

Day 1 Friday, July 18th - Our Father who art in heaven,

Heavenly Father, through baptism you have made us your beloved children, open ______’s heart to interpret their lives through the most important role you have given them, your beloved child. So that they would believe who they truly are, and seek your will for what you have called them to do. In Jesus name, Amen.

Day 2 Saturday, July 19th- Hallowed be thy name

Holy God, your name is the name above all names. Today as students arrive at the National Youth Gathering let _______ reflect your will in what he/she thinks, says, and does so that all who see the way he/she conducts him/herself would glorify your holy name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 3 Sunday, July 20th- Thy Kingdom Come on Earth as it is in heaven

Almighty God, you promise that you are with us always, today as you bring your kingdom to _____ through your word and your supper give him/her faith to believe in your true presence with him/her, so that he/she would be strengthened to see you in the world. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Day 4 Monday, July 21st- Give us this day our daily bread

Creator of all, you have given us our bodies and souls and still care for them, provide _______ with all the sleep, rest, and food he/she needs to stay healthy so that he/she can focus on you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 5 Tuesday, July 22nd- Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.

Loving Father, you sent your Son to wipe away our sins, build up ______ to trust in your forgiveness so that he/she can be gracious with him/herself and others. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 6 Wednesday, July 23rd- Lead us not into temptation

Lord of all, as students pack up to leave the gathering, protect ______ from every temptation of the devil to make his/her faith experiences on this trip feel like they aren’t real life. So that he/she would continue to process the lesson you are teaching. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Day 7 Thursday, July 24th- But deliver us from evil

God of the sojourner, you have always gone with wandering people, watch over _____ and keep him/her safe on this journey home, so that he/she would return with renewed purpose to the calling you have on his/her life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
