Job Description
As a Member Services Coordinator at Tim Morehouse Fencing Club, you play a pivotal role in ensuring that our club members have a seamless and enriching experience. You will be the primary point of contact for our members, assisting with their inquiries, coordinating club activities, and providing administrative support. This position requires exceptional interpersonal skills, organizational prowess, and a dedication to delivering top-notch customer service to our valued members.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Engagement: Build strong relationships with club members, understand their needs, and ensure they have access to the club's resources and programs.
- Membership Support: Assist members with inquiries, membership renewals, and registration for club events, classes, and competitions.
- Event Coordination: Organize and oversee club events, including tournaments, workshops, and social gatherings, ensuring they run smoothly and meet member expectations.
- Communication: Manage club communications through various channels, including emails, newsletters, and social media, to keep members informed about club news, updates, and upcoming events.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate member records, process payments, and handle administrative tasks related to membership management.
- Feedback Collection: Gather and analyze member feedback to continuously improve club services and offerings.
- Collaboration: Work closely with coaching staff, administrative personnel, and other club departments to ensure a cohesive and positive member experience.
Qualifications:
- Customer Service Skills: Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with members and address their needs and concerns.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment. - Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for correspondence and event promotion.
Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in membership records and event coordination.
Team Player: A collaborative mindset and the ability to work cohesively with other club departments and staff members. - Fencing Knowledge: While not mandatory, familiarity with the sport of fencing is a plus.

Qualifications
- Educational Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. A college degree in a related field such as sports management, hospitality, or business administration can be an advantage but is not mandatory.
- Some experience in membership services, customer service, or related fields is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Experience with these applications is a plus: Google Suite: Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drive etc., Mindbody, Squarespace, Instagram, and Facebook
Additional Details
- Pay Range: $18-20/hour.
- Part Time: 3-4 Days/Week (20-25 Hours/Week)
- Hours/Shifts:
- Weekdays: 2pm-8:00pm
- Weekends: 8:30am-2:30pm
