Event Cancellation & Refund Policy
Event cancellation or “rain checks”
William Chris Vineyards reserves the right to cancel or postpone an event due to inclement weather or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If William Chris Vineyards cancels an event, ticket holders will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a credit to their account for future use or transfer of tickets to the same event for the “rain” date.
William Chris policy for notification of cancelled events
In the case of inclement weather, an event is cancelled, or the tasting room is closed, notice will be posted on William Chris Vineyards website, sent via email notification to ticket holders, and posted to our social media accounts.
Cancellation by Ticket Holder - Refunds and Credits
If the event/dinner is held at a venue other than our estate in Hye, Texas we require 7-days notice for cancellation.
The deadline to request a refund for a purchased ticket is three business days (72 hours) before the event/reservation if the event is held at William Chris Vineyards.
All funds will be credited to the original purchaser’s account only.
Most of William Chris Vineyards special events are sold out three to four weeks ahead of the event date, therefore cancellations received after the stated deadline may impact contracts with outside service providers. Due to the nature and demand for tickets to our special events we request that as much notice be provided as possible when a ticket holder needs to cancel.
** Refunds will not be available for ticket holders who choose not to attend an event. **
No Show & Late Cancellation Policy
Customers who fail to cancel reservations prior to the event date will be considered a no show, and ticket fees will not be eligible for refunds.
These policies apply to all WCV events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials.
