What is the entry fee for the 2019 ALL IN BARREL RACE?

The entry fee for your first horse per race is $1295. The fee for additional horses per race is $995 (does not include hotel room or  contestant jacket) each. You can upgrade your additional entries to $1295 to include hotel room and contestant jacket. Hotel room nights are pre-determined for each race.

For example, if you want to enter one horse in all three races, then your entry fee is
$1295 + $1295 + $1295 = $3885. This will include your hotel room and stall for the duration of all three races, including the nights between races; the equivalent of 12 hotel room nights and stall nights.

How do I enter the ALL IN BARREL RACE?

  1. We accept online entries ONLY at www.lvbarrelrace.com. For assistance with entering online you can contact our office at (970) 400-RACE (7223).
  2. At entry, you are required to make a minimum of your first payment. You may choose to pay in full at this time.
  3. There are three separate races to enter:
    ALL IN RACE 1 Open 5D: December 5 - 7, Showdown round on December 7

This race includes the $25,000 added ALL IN BARREL RACE YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS race. The ALL IN BARREL RACE YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS race will carry over to ALL IN BARREL RACE 1.

ALL IN RACEs 1, 2, and 3 include two qualifying rounds and a short go.

Can I buy an entry that does not include a hotel room & stall?

No, the ALL IN BARREL RACE is an all-inclusive event. Your $1295 entry fee includes the hotel room, stall, contestant jacket, trailer parking, and entry fee. Once you have entered your first horse, your second horse (or more) in each race can be entered for $995 and does not include the hotel room or contestant jacket. Hotel room nights are pre-determined for each race.

Are buddy or tack stalls available?

Yes, however, we have a limited number of stalls available. Reserve early to guarantee.

Where is the arena for the ALL IN BARREL RACE?

The ALL IN BARREL RACE will be held at The Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The address is 4500 W Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89103. This is the address you should use for your health certificates.

Who can run at the ALL IN BARREL RACE? Do I have to qualify?

Anyone! This is an open barrel race, no qualifications are required.

What is the payout for the ALL IN BARREL RACE?

Except for first place in each D in the Showdown round, all payouts in the ALL IN BARREL RACE are equal payout, based on the schedules included below.

The $25,000 Added ALL IN BARREL RACE FUTURITY will be December 13 - 15, 2019. You are required to enter the ALL IN BARREL RACE 3. Your times from the FUTURITY will carry over to ALL IN BARREL RACE 3. See complete details in the rules.

How does the $25,000 Added ALL IN BARREL RACE YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS race work?

The $25,000 Added ALL IN BARREL RACE YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS race will be December 5 - 7, 2019. You are required to enter the ALL IN BARREL RACE 1. Your times from the ALL IN BARREL RACE YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS will carry over to ALL IN BARREL RACE 1. See complete details in the rules.

How does the payment plan work?

The payment plan includes 4 payments. Age incentive entries (not ALL IN BARREL RACE YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS or ALL IN BARREL RACE FUTURITY) must be paid in full at the time of entry. ALL IN BARREL RACE YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS and ALL IN BARREL RACE FUTURITY can be paid out with the payment plan.

Payment plan dates will be available when entries open.

Payment 4 - Due October 15

Drawout deadline - November 15.

Entries will close at the discretion of ALL IN BARREL RACE management.

Draw posts approximately December 1.

Deadline for selling spots - at the end of contestant check in for each race.

You can opt into payment plan at any time, but your first payment has to pick up what you missed. If you opt in after the 2nd payment installment, then you owe 50% of your total entry fee.

All payments must be made by credit or debit card. Check payments will not be accepted.

Do you accept late entries?

Entries are limited to approximately 500 per race, depending on hotel and stall availability. Entries will close at the discretion of ALL IN BARREL RACE management.

What hotel nights are included with my entry?

How do I reserve stalls and parking spots?

Stalls and parking are part of your entry fee. A limited number of stalls are available for each race; buddy stalls or tack stalls can be purchased for $365 for the duration of each race, based on availability. You may not stay in your trailer in the parking lot.

Contestants may not resell or reallocate their stalls.

All contestants will receive one bag of shavings/stall. No outside shavings allowed (including straw and pellets).

 

Mats will be sold on-site. Contestants are allowed to bring their own mats. Contestants may not resell mats on-site.

Feed, hay, and shavings will be available for purchase on site.

No overnight or long-term tie outs. Horses will not be allowed to be tied out to trailers for extended

periods of time. Horses should only be at trailers long enough to unload/load and/or saddle.

Are you having exhibitions?

Contestants are entitled to arena time with their entry. Time, date, and the format will be determined at a later date. Details will be posted on-site, Facebook, and lvbarrelrace.com.

How do the age incentives work?

  1. There are 3 age incentives. Youth 18 & under, Adult 19-49, and Senior 50+.

Youth age incentive is not available for ALL IN RACE 1. Youth riders are encouraged to enter the ALL IN BARREL RACE YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIPS race in RACE 1.

  1. Age will be based on the age of the contestant as of 1/1/19.
  2. Entry fee is $50 and entry into incentives is optional.
  3. Incentives are awarded for the two qualifying rounds of each race.
  4. 4D format with ½ second splits.
  5. 95% payback.
  6. You must enter incentives by the end contestant check in for each race.

Do I need to check in when I arrive?

There are three different check ins:

  1. Stalls - you may check in to your stalls according to the time and dates allowed for each race. You will present your coggins and health certificates at stall check in.
  2. Horse numbering - during the designated hours for each race, your horse must be numbered. If you are substituting a horse, you must make the horse change with the contestant office prior to numbering.
  3. Contestant - during the designated hours for each race, each contestant much check in with the office for contestant packets and contestant photos.

Do I need to check in prior to my run?

You will need to check in with the gate man and be in the holding area five horses before your run. Failure to do so will result in a disqualification. The gate man will be located next to the alleyway going Into the arena. Contestant's name will be called by the gate man three times, if the contestant is not in the arena by the third call, they will be disqualified. Only one horse may be in the alleyway at any time. Remember - the three official calls come from the gate man, not the Announcer.

Can I bring my dog?

No dogs are allowed on arena grounds, which includes stall housing, trailer parking, or within the arena facility. Only service dogs with proper documentation will be allowed on premises. Service dogs must be leashed and under the direct control of the owner at all times. Any owner whose dog is exhibiting disruptive behaving including, but not limited to: barking, growling, or aggressive behavior, will be asked to remove the dog from the property by The Orleans Security. This rule derives from the The Orleans Arena policy manual and will be enforced by The Orleans Security.
