PTA Cultural Arts was proud to bring Colors of India to the SES for two great performances that had all the children dancing in the aisles. Many thanks to all the families who have supported Cultural Arts - this support allows the children to experience cultures from all over the world and we thank you! See attached flyer for more info!

The Saugatuck Spotlight!

This week, we will get to know our fabulous music teacher, Kerri Kohlun.

If I wasn’t a music teacher I would want to be a . . . A dog trainer

If I could have any superpower it would be . . . Teleportation so that I could go anywhere in the world at any time. (also so I could get rid of my hour long commute)

My autobiography would be called . . . This is Me!

The last thing I watched on tv was . . . Grey's Anatomy

My favorite song is . . . My favorite "now " song is " I Want You to Have it All" - Jason Mraz, but my favorite all time song is "Greatest Love of All" by Whitney Houston.

A Scoop of Thanks Goes To …

. . . all of the parents and families who donated to the fall appeal which secured funding to allow us to add a Gaga Pit and Basketball Hoop to the playground.

Monday, October 29, Westport League of Women Voters and Westport PTA Council presents a debate of Connecticut State Senators and House of Representatives.  7 -9 pm at Westport Town Hall  Click Here for more information

The Westport League of Women Voters (WLWV) along with the Westport PTA Council are sponsoring a Debate of the Connecticut State Senate and House of Representatives on Monday, October 29, 2018, 7-9 pm at Westport Town Hall Auditorium. In addition, the position of Probate Judge is uncontested this year, so the one candidate will give a brief statement.  This debate gives Westporters a chance to hear the views of the candidates who will represent them at the State level. All questions are provided by the community and are “screened” by three members of the Westport League of Women Voters – one Republican, one Democrat and one Unaffiliated voter.

What would YOU like to ask these candidates? This year, the WLWV is seeking questions from the community prior to the night of the debate. If you have a question, please email it to the League’s email at LWVWestportct.org.  All questions are screened, so please send in your questions as soon as possible.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan organization. It neither supports nor opposes any political party or candidate. The League supports political responsibility through informed and active participation of citizens in government.
