Three examples of how my life has changed during social distancing:

• Several people shopping at the grocery store were wearing masks and gloves, and it felt strange that shoppers acted as if it was normal to be shopping in a mask and gloves.  (Compound Sentence)

• When I drove to the grocery store yesterday, I noticed that all of the fast-food parking lots were empty, and all of their signs said, “Drive-thru still open.” Usually, they would say things like, “Super deluxe bacon bombs – 50% off.” (Complex Sentence)

• I don’t have the TV on during the day because it distracts me from doing my schoolwork, so I wait until my school work is completed before turning on the TV. (Compound-Complex Sentence)
