Syllabus:

        The mission of the Department of the Fine Arts is to inspire and facilitate traditional and contemporary interpretations of artistic literacy and application in multiple contexts with Art and Music. The capacity for students to express themselves artistically is innate.  Through exposure and experience, students will develop a better understanding of self, society, and culture. Through manipulation of mediums and the creative processes, students will be exposed to new ideas and will develop problem solving skills that foster independence, critical thinking, and imagination that inspire creativity.  

Standards:

        Create, Respond, Perform and Connect

Music will be taught first semester using the elements of music along with the elements of art:  Media Art will be taught second semester using the elements of art along with the elements of music.

All Lessons will be in google classroom as well as paper and pencil and the use of hands-on approach.
