5. NRBA Rules – Questions / Concerns / Changes
a. Write in from Josh Cochran on time limit (suggestion of no new inning after 1:45, 2hr time limit). – General consensus by representation stressed that managers should discuss with umpire and set this as part of ground rules. There is good reason to have a time limit when there is an ensuing game after or a chance of darkness falling and the game not completing. However, when there is no game after and no chance of darkness or weather affecting the outcome of the game, then it should be the managers discretion with the umpire whether or not to set a time limit. Neither party really wants to play longer than 2 hours, however in the case of working new pitchers and focusing on player development, some leniency should be agreed upon at home plate.
b. Future/Rookie leagues: Rules were posted on NRBA last year and will be reviewed again this year since this is an in between age of tball and instructional (historically orgs have different rules)
c. Instructional, Farm, and Bronco rules remain the same as last year.
6. Divisions:
a. Divisions will be done similar to last year for farm and bronco.
7. NRBA Rosters
a. It was agreed to have number of teams in from all organizations participating by March 5th. That way divisions can be constructed.
b. Official Rosters are due by April 4th.
8. Umpires
a. Patched umpires for farm and Bronco
b. Trying to see if we can give Pittsburgh Umpire Assoc. a number of games for playoffs so there is no lack of coverage.
9. Website / Entering Scores
a. JJ will have all pertinent information on website HOWEVER pitched the idea of all coaches using Game Changer App where we can create a league and all coaches are responsible for entering rosters, schedules, and scores. This is a great app and if all coaches did their part would avoid the overhead and cut out the middle man of data entry on the website. Everyone really liked this idea.

11. What is the NRBA website? https://leagues.teamlinkt.com/northern1234
But also much easier just googling for ‘Northern Regional Baseball Association”, if you google ‘NRBA’ it is about the 4th or 5th hit.
