In vitro hair follicle models for development of gray hair therapy

Since hair graying is supposed to be a sign of rapidly progressing old age and loss of health, an efficient therapy for premature hair graying is desired. The purpose of this study is to develop in vitro models of hair graying. This approach allows us to provide model tissues for experiments in a scalable and reproducible manner, and to observe morphological changes over time in each hair growth cycle.
