Unite America is a philanthropic venture fund that invests in nonpartisan election reform to foster a more representative and functional government. Comprised of Democrats, Republicans, and independents committed to working across lines of political difference to defend and improve democracy, specifically, by addressing what it believes to be the biggest solvable problem fueling political extremism and polarization: party primaries. Unite America seeks to abolish party primaries and replace them with nonpartisan primaries that give all voters the freedom to vote for any candidate in every election, regardless of party, as described in the book, The Primary Solution. Supports locally-led state campaigns to win election reform both through ballot initiatives and state legislatures, and national, nonpartisan organizations that provide resources to state campaigns and build movement momentum.

Voice of the People

Voice of the People is working to give the people a greater and more effective voice in policymaking by encouraging the use of public consultations with governmental institutions and Members of Congress. Public consultations continue to reveal extensive common ground, defined as bipartisan Republican and Democrat support, among the public on pressing public policy issues.
