Volunteers Needed for Waggy Butts & Happy Mutts Dog Rescue!

As we grow as a rescue, we are looking for more animal lovers to join our already awesome team of amazing people! A lot of what we need help with can be done remotely. Here is our general volunteer application.

Volunteer Opportunities:

1. Petfinder Management:

• Add and remove dogs on Petfinder (we provide all the info; it's just a copy and paste task).
• We have a step by step guide for this :)
• Apply specifically for Petfinder Management here.

2. Google Drive Management:

• Help maintain our "current foster" Google Drive file to track adoptions.

3. Fundraising and Donations:

• If you have skills in asking for donations, grants, or other fundraising efforts, we need your expertise to help us email and reach out for support.
• Visit local businesses & ask if they would be willing to have out a donation box for us that we will come and collect donations from. We provide the donation box.
• Ask local businesses such as breweries and bars if they would be willing to do a yappy hour for us where a portion of the proceeds would be donated to us, and in exchange we market their business. It will be a plus if we can bring adoptable dogs (only if its a dog-friendly business)
• Reach out to businesses or events asking for item donations (gift cards, baskets, sport event or concert tickets, etc) for us to raffle off at events or online raffles

4. Miscellaneous Calls:

• Make occasional calls, such as adding a dog to our vet account. This is crucial, as many of us are at work and unable to make calls during business hours.

5. Anything else you think you may be a help with, let us know!

• Pet photographers
• Anyone good at writing to make cute or quirky posts
• etc, etc!
