9.30-9:45 am -– teachers and staff get settled in for the day.

We will then move into our two working sessions:

Deacon Robert Kinghorn will lead both sessions for this day.

The topic of his presentation is “Holiness on the Street” which elaborates upon the comment from Pope Francis in his Apostolic Exhortation, “On the Call to Holiness in Today’s World” where he reminds us that holiness is not that we have never sinned, but that we can weep for our sins.

In the presentation to the teaching and support staff, he will share many of his learning experiences over his 17 years of ministry on the streets and discuss the fundamentals of pastoral ministry which are built upon the four pillars: “Show up, Listen, Don’t Judge, Don’t Fix.” These basic gospel principles can be applied in all circumstances of personal and professional life, and also underpin our faith life as people of the Beatitudes. Each session will include small and large group discussion.
