• Berkeley Cycle Works - 1619 San Pablo Ave, Berkeley, 510-525-2453. Giant brands including Liv,,& Momentum. Electric catalog shows 9 commuter & mountain models starting at $2,100. 7 models under $3,000. Call or visit to confirm what is in stock.
• Blue Heron Bikes - 1306 Gilman St, Berkeley 510-524-1937. Brompton. Bullitt, Gazelle, Gocycle, Riese & Muller, Tern, Triobike, & Yuba. Electric catalog shows commuter, folding, and cargo models. Their online catalog does not show prices or stock, but usually have lots of ebikes in stock. They have been selling ebikes since 2012.
• Mike's Bikes - 1824 University Ave, Berkeley 510-845-2453. Brompton, Cannondale, Electra, Gazelle, Giant, Liv, Momentum, Serial 1, Specialized, Stromer, and Urban Arrow. Electric catalog shows 53 models in stock starting at $1,350, including commuter, folding and cargo models. 7 models under $2,000. 17 models at $2-3,000. Unknown number in the Berkeley store, but all “in stock” can be retrieved from other area stores or their distribution center in less than a week for a tryout.  
• Pacific E Bikes - 843 Carleton, Berkeley, 510-843-2453(text). Emazing, Magnum, and Okai. Electric catalog shows 6 bikes in stock starting at $1,500 including one cargo and one trike. 1 model under $2,000, 5 models at $2-3,000. Pacific also does conversions of standard bikes to ebikes.
• Rad Power - 2734 San Pablo, Berkeley. All Rad Power. Electric catalog shows 9 models starting at $1,500. 2 models under $2,000. 7 at $2,000 to $2,500, including a trike.   All Rad Power models are usually in stock and available for test rides. May be purchased for self-assembly or assembled.  
• REI - 1338 San Pablo Ave, Berkeley  510-527-4140 Benno, Brompton, Cannondale, Diamondback, Electra, Haiback, REI Coop, & Tern. Electric catalog shows 37 models from $1,500, including commuter, folding, cargo and mountain models. 12 models under $2,000. 9 models $2-3,000. The Berkeley store usually has two to twelve models in the store and can obtain others from other stores in the region.
• Sports Basement - 2727 Milvia, Berkeley, 510-984-3907. Aventon, Cannondale, Charge, Jamis, Linus, Scott, Super73, & Transition. Electric catalog shows 37 models, including commuter, folding and mountain starting at $1,400.16 models under $2,000. 7 bikes $2-$3,000.  Website indicates individual model availability in the Berkeley store. Usually can be obtained from another Bay area store in 3 days. Also rent 2 types of commuter e-bikes (Scott and Charge) Rental rates are Day $65.00, Weekend $110.00, Week (up to 9 days?) $300.00, Month $500.00

• Trek - 2480 Shattuck Ave, Berkeley 510-370-2890. Trek & Electra Electric catalog shows 72 commuter and mountain models starting at $1,600. 5 models under $2,000. 10 models $2-3,000. Website indicates individual model availability in the Berkeley store.
• TipTop Bike Shop - 4800A Telegraph Ave, Oakland, 510-444-4148 Brompton, Marin, & Yuba. Electric catalog shows 11 commuter, folding & cargo models starting at $1,650. 2 models under $2,000. Call or visit to confirm in store availability.
• Wrench Science - 1022 Murray St, Berkeley, 510-841-4748. High end road, gravel and mountain bikes . Argon, Cinelli, Colnago, DeRosa, Evil, Ibis, Intense, Niner, Pinarello, & Wilier. Electric catalog shows 16 mountain models starting at $4,700. Call or visit to confirm availability.
• Zach Kaplan Cycles - 1518 Buena Vista Ave, Alameda 510-522-2368. Recumbent bikes and trikes, incl conversions and adaptive. Catrike & HP Velotechnik. Always has models for test rides.
