IB Requirement

Utah State University IB Credit Policy

Diploma Requirements

A student who earns the IB Diploma program will:

•  receive 30 semester credit hours
• Waive appropriate Breadth and Communications Literacy requirements
• Required to complete Quantitative Literacy requirement unless individual IB scores waive those requirements

A student that does not earn the IB Diploma but scores a 5 or higher in a HL (higher level) IB course will:

• Be awarded 8 credit hours per HL course passed with a 5 or higher

IB credit will be awarded prior to AP and CLEP credit

Ogden High HL Courses

Some IB classes prepare students for the corresponding AP exam.

Must score 5, 6 or 7
